My child loves creating art in the bathtub! Have fun while getting clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, these Crayola Kids Bath Crayons seemed like a brilliant idea. The little ones had a lot of fun using the crayons during bath time. The problem, however, came afterward. The stains would not come off the walls, leaving them somewhat stained.
The first time using, the tips broke. They did not write smoothly on tub surface. When I slid the crayon up, it either fell out of holder or slid back down. I used a magic eraser to clean, but it wasn't easy. Too bad because it seemed like such a fun product.
Awful-buy Munchkin instead! These seemed like a good deal, but they immediately fell apart, left stains on my white tub, and were extremely difficult to wipe away. I threw these away the day after using them. I had to use comet to remove the marks. Munchkin brand would easily wipe away with the washcloth I was already using. Munchkin pack from Target was fewer crayons, but they lasted forever.
I just spent over an hour scrubbing this crap off of our bathtub and counters, it also stained the towel it got on, and was really difficult to get it off of my toddler's hands.
Not impressed. These seem like a good idea. But are really hard to get off the tub. I have a brand new tub and it felt like wayyyy too much work to clean after the kids painted the bathtub. Will only use on paper now.
All I have to say is just know whatever is drawn with these crayons is going to be pretty permanent so make it pretty. These crayons are very oily and have the exact texture of oil pastels. They not only stain skin and make it incredibly hard to get off, it also stains the bathtub. No amount of magic erasers or Dawn dish soap in the world is going to save you.
If you want some greasy crayons that are super hard to get off of the bathtub, tiles, and skin, buy these! I’m going to have to dedicate an hour of scrubbing and ruin multiple sponges and magic erasers to get rid of this mess!
I got these for my three year old. He drew all over the bathtub and the shower walls, no big deal right? No, these marks do not come off. I have tried everything I have thought of. The colors just blend together when trying to scrub them off. I have let my son try these crayons three times and I finally threw them out tonight. He drew all over himself (warning label says nothing about use on skin except “wash from skin with clean, soapy water before using towel” since these are known to stain fabric. I scrubbed my son until he said it hurt. The crayons stained his skin and have left a greasy residue that I can’t get off him. Please don’t even try them thinking they might just work for you despite all the reviews.
They break pretty easy. I even tried to fix one the “crayons” %26 it broke again before I could fix it. Not worth it to me.
