Tadoddles

This was such a great find! I have 2 little ones, 10 months and a 2 yo. Both have so much fun with this toy. I have a strict rule about toys that play with themselves. I had mistakenly bought a Playskool ball popper, it just sits there and plays all by itself, no child required. On the other hand, the Tadoddles requires the child to pull a lever, push a button, and slide another lever to deliver the ball. It comes with 3 colorful hard plastic balls. Although it does take batteries to sing little tunes, they don't last very long, and the toy will play fine without any noise (refreshing!).

My 10 month old loves this toy and gets very excited when the ball finally rolls out the bottom. The object is to place the ball in the top & there are a series of actions the baby needs to do in order to get the ball to roll out the bottom. Sliding the sun, and pressing down the bird is very easy. my son does have trouble with pressing down the kitty (the final step) as the kitty is very thin and he can't quite grip his tiny finger on it yet. I also wish it would light up because it's a little hard to see the ball "changing colors" unless you are in a very bright room. Overall this really is a great toy and keeps my son entertained long enough to get a little house work done !!!

I originally ordered this for my nephew who is visually impaired. It did not come in time (I ordered late, not Walmart's fault) so I kept it for my 7 month old. The color change is VERY subtle. I am glad I only paid $15 with a gift card and not what BRU charges for it. It makes some neat noises but is not my daughter's favorite toy. Save your money and buy something else.
