Ordered a Glow Dome as a gift. So I really can't give a fair rating on this item...Can only rely on "Crayola" for living up to its name. Walmart gave me a due date and it actually arrived a day early. Service was excellent.....
We as a family love this toy!!! It comes with the markers and a few details you can trace onto the dome. But we mostly like to draw things ourselves! We drew outer space, the North Pole, Farms and lots of other things. Also makes a wonderful nightlight! And so VERY simple to clean, wet rag, dry cloth and its brand new! Worth the money. Takes 3 AA batteries, so might want to have them on hand. :)
I ordered this on Cyber Monday in the late afternoon. I had it in my hand in less than 36 hours. How cool is that? Without leaving my house. My grand daughter has been asking for one of these for Christmas. Can't wait until she opens it. Capture the smile on her face. They price was outstanding. You Rock Walmart!!
Seems my kids liked it the first day, enjoyed tearing it apart, putting it back together, but my oldest can break the center plastic piece in half, which is why it got put up for "US" to play with. Fun at night as it glows, and the kids can draw pictures on it and see them glow.
Got this for my 9yr old and she loved it. As a matter of fact when she opened it, she was so happy...she said I REALLY WANTED THIS! Its very easy to use. The dome is plastic and theres another plastic part that is on the inside (its flat but stands up). You can use the markers that come with it to write or draw on the dome when it is still or in motion. I found that it was fun to hold the marker on the dome as it rotated and make squiggle marks or drawings. I would definately buy it again if i had to do it over. The lowered price on Walmarts site was GREAT. I wouldnt have paid full price for it, because after all, it is just simple plastic. But the price Walmart had was perfect!
I bought this item for my niece who is 7 years old and loves to color and draw. She love this glow dome. THe order arrive really fast and the item works perfectly. i had to order batterys to go along with it. It also turns into a night light so your little one can use it at night.
I bought this as a gift for my niece - she loved it - after struggling for nearly an hour to get it to turn on. It took 4 adults and some cursing before one of them finally got the on/off button on the bottom to work. We were sure the unit was defective or broken in transit, when her grandfather(an electrical engineer) couldn't get it to work! Once it was on, it was easy to use and she had alot of fun. It would be nice if you could change direction of the spin - her fish ended up swimming backwards!
good value, no mess. very entertaining, colors bright, easy to use product for young childern as well as early teens, clean off, clean up easy, very entertaining in a dark room, recomended to friend, and purchased 2 more as gifts for younger family members, both boys and girls benefit from this product,
Everything seems to work good so far. The markers are weak and not nearly as vibrant as displayed. They seem to be watered down and very dull. Overall the product seems to be good. I would suggest finding markers that work better.
I gave my five great grandchildren, ages from 5 to 8, and they didn't really like this toy. All you do is draw on the inside and on the outside dome. It lights up sometimes and it turns on the base sometimes. I do not recommend this toy.
