Makes nice smooth, distinct folding lines for cards. Works better than the scoring pen but a little more time to changw out blades rather than use pen and cutting blade at the same time.
The double scoring wheel tip makes 2 parallel score lines and works great for thicker cardstock. It is sturdy, fits on the QuickSwap housing and is part of the adaptive tool system, a convenient feature of the Maker and Maker 3 Cricut machines.
Great tool. Used it to make a wedding card from a cardstock and it worked great. I love how easy it is to change the tips and use this tool.
I bought these things things to help make some ornaments for our youth at church. It is working out wonderfully. I really appreciate all the things my cricut maker can do. thank you so much for making a product that lets people be so creative with so many different materials.
oh my goodness i got the deal of a lifetime on this blade. i already have one and its wonderful. I found this one on the clearance aisle for $7 so i grabbed it up quick. I use them for leather cutting and thin wood.
I use these all the time and couldn't live without them. I mostly use them for cutting Cricut chipboard (and also art presentation board) to make sturdy lasting projects. I don't understand the negative reviews, I've never had one break. I make clocks and seasonal trucks, box frames and all sorts of other items. . I've posted a few photos to give some examples.
Perfect match, easy to change.Trying to find in a hobby store was difficult. they usall only have the blade for machine.
Hi. I am very pleased with this recent purchase, however it wasn't without flaws so I couldn't give a perfect score. This last Knife Blade and Drive Housing did complete the project, however a small tip of the housing blade did come off. It did leave a small metallic smear on the project, but it did not completely break off. I have not attempted a new project after completing this last one recently but I am hopeful I will get a successful cut with the knife blade.
My maker won't let me use my rotary blade. It keeps telling me I have to use the fine point blade. I'm using flannel and when I used that blade it ripped through the fabric. Can anyone help me?
well i bought an engraving thingy but no one tolfd me it wouldnt fit my explore air 2 andbecause i didnt realize before i opened the package i cant return it so here ive spent the money as well as bought an assortment of sizes of anodized aluminum plated im out that money too. I love my cricut but im finding that unless you specifically ask the right questions no one tells anything. i find the numerous how to videos out there to be conflicting and vague one pereson will tell you that you have to mirror print and the next person says ya dont ect.....anyone want to buy a brand new engraving housing and tip lol
