Generation to Generation. I like the butter flavor and would like it not to be artificial flavor.
Love keeping this butter flavored shortening in my pantry for cookies and more when the recipe calls for margarine or oil. It's convenient and it tastes great too. Packaged cookie mixes tat call for a stick of margarine take the half cup of this and you don't have to soften it or warm it up just measure mix it in.
As always, Crisco never fails to deliver the same great taste and versatility cooks have come to expect from it for generations! There are so many ways to use this product. The possibilities are endless! It also makes a great cold cream when you mix it with some Vitamin E oil!
The Butter Flavor Crisco has really elevated the quality of our homemade baked items. It adds a buttery flavor and enhances the textures of cookies, breads, and cakes. For suggestions on various ways to use it, I visited the Crisco web site and got new recipes. Yum!
My first time using this product and I am impressed. I really like the butter flavour minus the grease, plan to buy again.
Crisco Vegetable Shortening is tried and true. The butter flavor is a great fulfillment when baking, increasing full flavors. Plus, a great substitute for real dairy butter. Plus a great pantry shelf life.
U can use this butter flavored CRISCO in place of butter , for baking . It has a very long shelf life beyond the Best if used by date .
My grandmother made cookies for me when I was younger. I tried making cookies without this they never came close to amazing like hers always were. I don't fry foods so I can only say its great for baking!
WM was out of Crisco spray so I bought this. To be used only for making eggs in a nonstick pan. Eggs kept sticking. Called Crisco, they didn't have an answer but sent us a coupon for the spray so I am happy with the outcome. In the end what I figured out is the Copper Chef pans are concave, they are not flat on the inside bottom of the skillet. Consequently the Crisco shortening was running to the sides of the pan. The spray stays where you spray it, so a much better choice for frying eggs.
The container is greasy-looking along its external seams. Looks like the shortening is leaking from the inside. Kind of frustrating as this is a new, unopened container put on a shelf after shipping
