This is an amazing accessory for any shooter game for the Wii Console. Totally recommend this to anyone that loves to shoot'em up. The laser is a little small for me, but, still is accurate. 5 Stars.
This product is good. However, it is not made by NINTENDO, whereas the Zapper is. The games give settings for the Zapper, but not this gun. The only reason I chose this over the Zapper was for the lazer light that would help the aim. Unfortunately, it does not match up with the Wii controller. Not bad, but save the six bucks and get the Zapper.
The Wii multifunction gun I purchased was defective when I received it. First, the website and the box it comes in both say that it takes AA batteries, but it doesn't. It actually takes AAA batteries. The laser pointer in mine didn't work anyway. I contacted the makers of the gun and they would be happy to replace it for me. The hassel though to box it up again and ship it off to NY is not worth my time. Is it even good to be shooting laser beams into Plasma TVs? All in all, the gun is cool looking and it works great with Medal of Honor Heros 2.
My husband was very excited to receive this gun for Call of Duty. It does work very well. He said it is hard to get used to the position you have to be in to use the nunchuk correctly. As a previous reviewer stated the laser does not work, but it doesn't affect the playing of the game. It does say it takes AA, but there is no way you are getting two AA batteries in there, it takes two AAA batteries!
the product is not accurate with the lazer
The gun did not meet my expectations. The laser serves no purpose as it does not align with the target and barrel.
I bought this CTA gun for my Wii based on the description and looks. I imagined the machine gun feel with this gun, but found that looks is basically all it had going for it. The laser pointer requires you to stand further back to get some accuracy. There is too much play in the trigger. Playing House of the Dead can be tiring with this gun as you have to move your trigger finger more. Lastly, the connection between back handle and the gun is flimsy. Mine broke and now won't stay on securely. Like the previous rater, too much trouble to send it in. All in all, it works so so, but I'd go with the Nyko gun instead.
