Bought this knife set recently to replace another set of Cuisinart knives. Excellent value and quality. Very sharp and a good variety of blade types with block and sharpener as well.
I love Cuisinart products and I love my new knives. I recommend Cuisinart to anyone. Their products are of quality materials and are solid. I have other Cuisinart appliances, pots and pans, utensils and have had for many years and have had no problems ever with them!!
Amazing knives! Was dealing with dull garbage for way too long. Saw a great deal and didn't think twice. Beautiful and feel good in hand. Saying they are sharp is obvious but they are an absolute pleasure. Bonus that the block was black because it looks great in my kitchen. Hadn't paid attention to that at all. Love the modern all steel look versus black handle.
Great set of knives. Use them everyday for cutting meats, veggies, and fruit.

The rounded handles on the steak knives are a nuisance. You can't put them on the edge of your plate because they roll down into your food or off the plate and that is noisy and causes everyone at the table to look at you. They cut nicely (of course they should, they are brand new). Thy also look nice but they are not practical.
These knives are awesome, they glide perfectly into any food you are cutting, and look so sleek. Definitely recommend for that - but I guess like any knives, can rust on blade. I love them except for this part. The scissor rusted almost immediately for me, even though I washed immediately after using and dried it completely. Of course, because of the shape of it, and the way certain parts are hidden at times when they open and close, it's nearly impossible to get every drop of water dried after washing them. I dry all my knives right away, and I went crazy getting every little crevice dry, and still, my scissor is garbage!
