This is the best litter scoop we have ever owned. Over the years we have owned a lot of indoor cats and have used many litter scoops from plastic to metal. After a time, the plastic ones break and the metal ones bend. The Petmate Curvations Litter Scoop is sturdy and easy to handle. When you scoop, you do not lose any of the clean litter, it comes out quickly from the slots in the scoop and goes right back in the litterbox. I have never seen a plastic scoop this sturdy. I expect to get many years of use and would recommend it to anyone who has indoor cats and needs to scoop litter.
It may take a few extra seconds of shaking to sift through the litter but you get to leave the box so much cleaner with this bad boy! Wish it wasn't pink but that detail is barely noticeable and not pertinent.
This scooper is fantastic. The other one I had was a very bad design. This one is heavy duty, a flat scoop and big. The slots may be a tad too big, but work great for me. There is no comparison between the old one I had and this one. Also this one is easy to keep clean. There are no "teeth" to clean as it's one flat straight scoop. I highly recommend it and it's worth the price for the sturdiness.
This is the second time I've purchased this scoop; one for downstairs and now one for upstairs. The scoop is made of very heavy plastic and will not bend under the weight of clumping litter. It's also strong enough to scrape off the clumps stuck to the bottom of the litter box.
I've had a lot of scoopers and this one is the only one I will own from now on.It is very,very sturdy plastic and the shape is perfect.
I love this cat scoop, and can't imagine why I didn't purchase one like this sooner. It's a solid metal piece that's sturdy and strong. It allows me to scoop more at once and clean the box faster. It's nice and deep and makes cleaning the cat box a breeze. The slits are also just the right size. The only thing is, because it is so large and deep, it takes a couple extra seconds to shake all the lose litter out but that's not a hassle at all to be honest. You really do get what you pay for, and in the case of this product, it's worth every penny.
So far the best one out there for the money. It is not metal, it is plastic so be careful!!
This is a very sturdy scoop. It can get to any lump, no matter the size. I highly recommend it.
