Great mini fridge
(5)

Just wanted to give my thoughts on this mini-fridge. First, I ordered this through site to store and was given the default time-frame to arrive in the store, the product arrived on the lower end of the wstimate (about 7 days-very good I thought). Next, appearance-I was very pleased with the look of the fridge. It is primarily plastic, but a matte black finish, great for my theater room which is in tans and dark browns, plus with the matte finish, it does not reflect the light. Another great feature (one of the main reason I bought it) was there is no wasted 'freezer' space, all fridge. I was able to get about 2 cases of beer and 3 12-packs of sodas, and still have room for juice boxes for the kids. This is our primary entertaining room (and we also have a chest freezer in the laundry room next door) so there is plenty of room for drinks and no wasted space. The can holder (wish it was a drop through) but was still a good feature. Plus, there is a light inside that comes on when the door is opened. Great for watching movies with the lights off. Performance- I was impressed at how quiet this unit is. Most times I am not sure if it is running. It has auto-defrost (which I will tell you the water drains to a pan the is located above the compressor, so the heat from the compressor evaporates the moisture, nice but I will have to see how it works out before I can definitely say. Also the compressor does not give off that much heat underneath, I have it setting on a carpet and regularly check to see how the carpet is heating up (so far there is no difference from surrounding areas) so I feel comfortable. The one this was bought to replace gave off so much heat, I did not feel comfortable with it on carpet. Finally, I guess overall and for the price this is a great unit. I had to bring it home on its side, so I let it stand upright for 24 hours after getting it home, manufacturer suggests much less but I am old-school having delivered applicances for many years a long time ago. It cooled down quickly, and cooled the cans in a matter of hours. Very happy with performance, appearance, and over all quality. I was looking at much larger units due to the wated freezer space, but this one is much larger than it sounds. GREAT MINI-FRIDGE.

Excellent compact refrigerator

Since it is one of a few star rated compact refrigerators, I would definitely recommend the Danby 3.3. Cu. Ft. refrigerator. We were very pleased with Walmart.com. The refrigerator was shipped from the west coast and arrived in the east coast within a week-great service. Since we have only had it for about two weeks, I cannot rate durability. Walmart should sell this refrigerator in its stores.

great office refrigerator

This is a great office refrigerator. Since there is no freezer there is much more room. It looks nice and has plenty of removable shelves and I love the features in the door for eggs, drinks, etc. This would be a great outside refrigerator for drinks, etc at home.

Great for the Garage

I got this refrigerator to keep beverages cold in the garage. One side did have a ding in it, but I really didn't care- I didn't buy it for looks, just color. It has a great amount of space and holds a lot of bottles if kept sideways. There were 2 setbacks that were easily fixed. (1) After I turned the frige on, the sides got extremely hot. I unplugged it overnight then turned it back on- worked great after that. (2) Long neck bottles do not fit on the middle rack while laying on their side- the door won't close. You need to put short neck bottles there. I love that it doesn't have a useless little freezer and that it's energy star. This is a great little refrigerator- just what I was looking for.

So far, so good

It fits the space and works. I don't know if it'll hold up well. I only got it a few weeks ago. But it seems to work well so far. I like that it has no freezer, which is just wasted space. The door shelves are a little limiting if you are storing items that are a different shape than the ones the shelves are designed to hold. But, overall, a good product. Oh, did I mention it is an Energy Star product. That was a major factor in my purchasing it. That and the lack of a freezer.

It's as described and we really like that fact that it doesn't have a freezer.

It's OK ... so-so

This is an OK refrigerator. The compartment arrangements are not well thought through and mess up one's need for storage, unless you really, really need to store cans (!). What else can fit into small can compartments?! There is no real space to store, e.g., larger bottles such as wine bottles which is really unfortunate. I wish there would be more flexibility and functionability. Overall space availability vs. older refrigerators 10 years ago is so-so, not better or bigger. I wish there would be a freezer compartment. The unit seems to work well, freezes as advertised, is not noisy. In terms of overall working as a freezer, this product is very good. I am pleased with the automatic defrosting and energy savings/efficiency features.

More Room Due To No Freezer.

Use it mainly to keep beer in the garage. Last fridge, was the same exterior size, but would only fit 2 cases of beer due to it having a useless (to me) freezer compartment. This fridge will hold 3 cases of cans. And, I do not have to defrost it every few months like I had to with the freezer one. It appears to be plastic outside skin, but magnets do stick to it. Need to put it to just about it's maximum cooling setting to get the beers nice and cold. (Although, the fridge is in the garage, and it is Summer in Florida) Thought it might be a little quieter than my old one, which was about 10-11 years old, but it seems about the same. Have only had it a couple weeks so I can't speak of its durability, but hope it will last a long time, as it is perfect for what I need. I would recommend this fridge if it is the size you need. Used Site-To-Store shipping, and it arrived earlier than expected. This whole process was very smooth with no negative issues. I would use Site-To-Store again.

Just OK

This product specializes in cans but the can holders in the door hit the shelves when spaced for beer cans so the door does not close correctly. No freezer but you don't need one for cans. Shelf spacing does not seem to be ideal for cans either.

Better than nothing but not much better

It was not possible to change the door to open on the other side, because the relevant screw cannot be removed. The leveling foot is shorter than the other foot and thus useless even on a level floor, I had to use a piece of styrofoam. There's always a pool of water at the bottom, which has to be mopped up every few days. But too much of a hassle to try to return.
