Exceellent capacity in a compact design. Holes 36 bottles whereas previous Cusinert held 32 for no meaningful difference in dimensions. Really keeps temperature where I want it. Also, a good value for the price. Well made. Looks beautiful. I use two, stacked, one for white wine at 40 degrees and one for red wine at 55 degrees. No complaints.
So my husband and I hemmed and hawed over buying a "beverage" cooler versus a wine cooler for our craft beer collection. In the end we went with this Fridge from Danby due to two things, the positive reviews of the product for reliabiltiy and also 2) cost. This fridge has worked perfectly for our needs and is not very noisy at all
Unit works as specified and holds a plus or minus 1 degree. As this is a refrigeration unit your wine is not effected by ambient room temp as it effects the non refrigeration units. The refrigeration noise is very minimal and I have not experienced and vibration. GREAT UNIT FOR THE MONEY!!!!!
looks good under cabinet with blue light on
This unit is fairly basic, and you'll never get five bottles per row if you drink pinot or chardonnay and don't flip some bottles around. But at such a reasonable price, it won't matter. Without a built-in thermometer or numeric setting, it takes some time to zero in on the temperature you'd prefer, but once set you never need to deal with that again. I've removed the lowest shelf and use that area for a dozen-plus standing beer bottles, and still fit 24 bottles of wine above that. It's not a noisy unit, and it's been its boring, consistent self for over a year. If your needs can be met with a single-zone cooler, this refrigerator really fits the bill.
Great product for the price. Only inconveniences is that larger bottles or "non-traditional sized" bottles do not fit in the upper shelves. You have to put them at the bottom. And you cannot gage the exact temperature. But it does its job to cool and store wine!
No issues to date but it is less than one year since I purchased it. This is the second wine cooler I purchased in the last three years. The first one only lasted two years while being used six months each year. I am a snowbird so I only used the cooler six months of the year. I am hoping my latest wine cooler purchase will function for approximately 10 years at six months annual use. Hence, I have only given the wine cooler a fair rating as it is too early to measure its longevity.
We purchased this model for our upstairs media room. In less than 2years it has already stopped working. Disappointed that this product did not work longer. Maybe that's why it only has a one year warranty.
35 bottles dont fit in there unless you only have standard skinny ones. I had to take out 2 trays to fit slightly bigger bottles. Noisy. No way to find out what's the temperature inside unless you use a thermometer. It's basically a cheap fridge that they sell as a wine cooler
Temperature will not rise above 47 degrees. It was advertised as having a range from 40 to 60 degrees.
