I bought this to replace a similar register that had broken slats from the vacuum cleaner and the dog running over it. This one appears to be a bit sturdier. It had an attractive finish that went well with my taupe colored carpet.
Fits great, and good finish. Solid wood grate with attached plastic floor insert. Please note that it does stick up about 3/8" above the floor level and could be a trip hazard if placed in the open walking path; but this is necessary for it to be so sturdy. Slide adjuster to open and close the airflow does not protrude above surface. No tools required to install, simply drops into 4" x 12" floor duct.
Make sure to measure the opening. Too big for my vents. g
Looks cute! But it's a little thick from the floor.
Nice looking wood on top part. Be aware that the mechanism is all plastic.
The registers look great. It was hard to find the correct sizes, but you had the ones we needed.
