This came exactly as presented online. It fit perfectly and looks much better than what was there before.
It looks great, very classy. So much better than those ugly generic registers, and for only a few dollars more. The matte finish looks great,too. The damper is made of plastic, which is great, because not only is it easy to close, it closes almost completely. The metal ones are not only difficult to close, they are do not close completely. Nothing negative to say about it. Bought them for every register in my home.

This is a thick heavy duty vent. The scroll design is so beautiful and offers a much more impressive decor' than original vents. I love the darker color against a grayish colored floor. Pops right into the floor opening. I also really like how easy it is to open and close, instead of moving the slats side to side, they close in the opposite direction with one easy slide.
