We have been using the cushions for the last 2 wks. They are incredible. They fit the Delahey chairs perfect and are a great compliment to our outdoor area. There have been a few storms/rain since we put them out, the seem to dry very quickly and are holding both their shape and color well. Great product.
This set fits the furniture that I purchased from Wal Mart last year. I was quite surprised and pleased that the quality of the cushions were far more than I expected. I had looked at Home Decorators and Plow & Hearth catalogues for cushions and almost ordered from HD but decided to check out Wal Mart on line. Although the color selection was limited the quality of the cushions (ie: height); fit and COST plus no shipping fees (delivered to local store) were as good or much better than HD or P&H. Glad I took the time to check out Wal Mart on line!
I was attempting to stick to a budget and was looking for nice patio furniture. I had looked at some options, but they were more than I wanted to pay. I showed my sister this set, still looked around, couldn't find what I wanted, then ordered this online. We are very happy, and our guests have been pleasantly surprised when they find out that the set came from Walmart. I also purchased the burgundy cushions, and the umbrella. I have purchased teak oil to preserve the wood. I am extremely happy with the product, and the price!
I ordered incorrectly and added the item twice to my cart. I considered returning the extra set. Once my table and chairs arrived, I tried using one set as the bottom cushion and the other as a back cushion. The result is successful and I am keeping both sets. Time will tell how the color and fabric holds up, but they look and feel great for now.
We purchased this set just before Memorial Day weekend, I assembled the entire set in about an hour or so, it was very simple, I did have a problem assembling the bench - the peg and hole did not line up exactly. We got so many compliments on the table. I love the color wood and the seats are very comfy! The table extension works simply and makes for a nice size table. The wood does need to be sealed periodically thru the season, I can see some spots on the table already where the wood finish is fading, but its nothing major. Great set!
We bought this patio dining set because it was cheap and had free shipping. The photos definitely look much nicer than the real thing. Our set seems pretty strong and nothing looks like it would fall apart any time soon. However, we were quite disappointed with the quality of the finish. Our wood was not well painted. It had a lot of marks and unpainted spots that make the furniture look unprofessional. However, it was well worth what we paid for it. After we put in the cushions and the umbrella, it looks a whole lot nicer. You can just cover the table with a nice, colorful tablecloth and nobody would notice the imperfections. The set makes our patio look so comfy !!
This set was way better than I thought it would be for the price paid. The wood was a nice dark tone and sturdy. Strange that the chairs on either end of the table could not push under the table, so they stick out a little. I also bought the burgundy cushion set and merano pillows. All were nice. Only complaint was that the little wooden pegs that cover the screw holes don't all fit and stay in. They unfortunately also resemble gummy drops, which my 21 month old would try and eat. Most of them fell out all over the deck. I resolved with glue. We'll see. Just set it up last weekend.
In general, great peace of furniture, but the finish is a real problem. Stain coat is so thin that in few weeks on the sun it will loose the seal and furniture will start eroding. More over, fold table leaves were stuck in closed position and pieces got damaged when we unfolded the leaves.
Cushions are very firm but comfortable. They hold water unlike other outdoor furniture cushions so its best to tip them up to drain/dry out. They match the umbrella from the previous years purchase (Delahey 6 pc. set) so that is a plus- my only concern is they may mold and be ruined after just one short summer season.
A little disappointing -- very difficult to assemble because of poor construction. holes weren't big enough for the screws to fit in so we had to drill bigger holes. pieces were glued incorrectly so table legs didn't fit properly. cheaply made. if you buy this table and chairs, be prepared to do a lot of clean up work on them just to get them assembled.
