I bought this piece, along with the matching crib and armoire. It is my favorite of the 3 pieces. It is absolutely gorgeous! The drawers slide out very easily. It is a piece of furniture that will grow with our baby. My husband was a bit frustrated that not all of the pieces were numbered, as was supposed to be according to the directions. But after 4 hours, he had it put together. Pre-fab furniture always takes time and patience. This one is no exception!
This is a great piece of furniture. The changing table on top has plenty of room. The drawers are roomy, and the inside cupboard has a shelf. It wasn't too hard to put together, just time consuming. It is a nice addition to our nursery. We shopped around and this was the best deal, and I liked it the best. Site to store shipping saved us $50, and it came very quickly. This by far was the best deal, very pleased it arrived with all pieces and no damage.
I truely did not expect this to be as nice as it is. Real wood and looks wonderful in the nursery. My only complaint was the straps holding the box together were too tight and dented the top in to sponts one was compleatly hidden and the other is not worth returning it. I am sure that since I am expecting a little Boy that the first time he decides to bang a truck against it there will be more :) I was also impressed with the In Store Delivery I saved over $65 in shipping and I didnt even have to leave the house just had my Husband pick it up.
I think that the changing table is beautiful and very functional. However, the picture is a little misleading. The drawers are acutally on the left not the right, which may be a problem if you are limited to specific placement with the way the cabinet door will open. I thought that it was simple enough to put together and lovely when finished.
This is a beautiful piece of furniture! I love the way it looks, the wood is sturdy, good quality, and there is tons of room on top and in the drawers. The drawers glide in and out with ease. It did take 4 1/2 hours to put together even though the instructions state it should take about an hour. Also, the instructions state not to use a drill, but that's just crazy, it seems like there are 100 screws and some don't even have predrilled holes! Lots and lots of parts and pieces, but it was worth it in the end.
With the site-to-store option, this was a great deal. The only complaint was the color was a bit darker than the website, and the time it took to set up was much, much longer than stated on the box. Other than that, this was indeed a great buy and we would recommend it to others.
Overall a very, very nice changing table. Once it's put together, very sturdy and solid. Plenty of space for all the babies needs. Directions said 1 hour to assemble with 1 person. No way!! I am good at this as I have done many "boxed" funiture pieces over the years and this was a 4 hour job and I did need help at several points. Just that helping hand. Some holes did not line up, but I was ready from other reviews, with a drill. I only had to re-do 4 holes all told, which is not too bad. Still I would say that this changing table is very well worth the time and is a very good value compaired to what is available elsewhere for quite a bit more.
It took two of us about 4 hours to assemble this product. The instructions were vague and the pictures in the instruction booklet were hard to see. We had to do a lot of guessing and checking as we put the pieces together to make sure it all fit. Quite a few of the holes didn't line up, so we had to use a drill to help us (which in turn stripped a lot of the screws because their heads weren't very big--blah!). Overall, the assembly was a pretty frustrating process! However, now that it's done, it looks great and definitely feels sturdy enough. It's a large piece of furniture, so it provides a lot of storage space and is a great height. Just make sure you have the room for it--especially when you're picking it up! You'll definitely need a truck or SUV.
I bought this dresser for my future granddaughter.My fiancee and I just put it together,and it took about 2 1/2 hours. Most of the parts were not marked this made it a bit confusing to say the least. The other con- the wood dials had to be cut because the holes where not all drilled out the same. Lastly, the one front drawer had a little nick in it, that we have to have replaced.With all this that was a problem, it is a quality piece of furniture that is well worth the price. My granddaughter will love this when she is old enough to appreciate it. I would say it was all worth the hassle.
This product took way......too long to assemble. I purchased the product and proceeded to empty the contents and that alone took an hour. In the instruction, it said that it would one hour to assemble with a manual screwdriver. Who are they trying to kid for I used a racheted one and altogether, it took a back-breaking with popcorn-sized sweats a total of 7.5 hours between two nights! What made it take longer is that the unit was not designed with precision. For example, the rear panels had to be improvised and changes to make them fit. Once assembled, the unit was just not solid and stable. Needless to say, the product did not live up to my expectations. The only positive thing that I have to say about this product is that it looks great and functional. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
