We recently purchased this for our 2 year old son and decided to go with Walmart since they offer FREE site to store shipping and the other major stores (Target, Babies R Us & JC Penny) didn't have any shipping deals. In this economy every penny counts! It didn't take my husband long to put it together although it's important to READ the instructions rather than just looking at the pictures. He used the wrong size screws at one point because he just followed the diagrams. Our son loves his big boy bed and we purchased a toddler sized bed sheet set/comforter to go with it. It's very sturdy and the corners are rounded so there aren't any areas that could injure a young toddler. We're very pleased with it so far.
I looked in stores all over for a toddler bed that wasn't white or cherry-finish. This bed matched my son's other furniture beautifully! The online picture was accurate; we were very happy with this purchase.
This bed is great, sturdy and my son loves it. It matches his furniture that we just got. My sister-in-law and I put it together in about an hour (we were watching a movie while we put it together). The finish is nice and I like the overall design. I highly recommend this bed. There was one little ding on the headboard but I think it was my fault when openning it.
This bed is really nice looking and was very easy to assemble. My son was so excited to sleep in his new Big Boy bed. All the pieces came in excellent condition and the ship to store option was so easy to use. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it to others!
I baught this bed for my son who is almost 2 yrs old. It was simple to put together and it matched perfect with the furniture I already have. The bed is absolutely adorable...... As soon as I was done putting it together and got his Sesame Street bedding on he jumped right in ....It is very sturdy, it holds myself and him when I lay with him to watch TV. I would definitey recommend this bed .
We had this toddler bed shipped to store--great experience!! My husband put it together easily with no complaints. It did have a small dent on the side of the headboard, but wasn't worth exchanging. My son absolutely loves it!! It's perfect for the price!!
The bed looks very nice and with the caramel color matched some existing furniture well and at the same time doesn't look more expensive. Our little girl loves it (23 months old) and is sleeping very well at night. A good value for the price paid.
Great color and very simple to put together. There was a small ding in the headboard.. but considering this is for a little boy, there will be more dings in the lifetime of this bed so I wasn't bothered by it. I recommend getting a small pillow. Normal sized ones span the width of the bed and run the length of the safety rails making them useless.
I was impressed by the construction of the bed--it's pretty sturdy and was well-crafted for something not made in the USA. The finish was a bit of a disappointment, though. It looks cheap, The color is too bright, and you can see where the spray finisher missed some hard-to-reach areas. Overall, it is a good bed for the money, and my son loves it :)
I would not recommend this product to anyone. I didn't even get the chance to put the bed together beacause as soon as I opened the box and pulled the head board out about a foot I saw that it was scratched and the wood was all gauged. This bed must be made of really soft wood therefore would not withstand a toddler. The color was also alot lighter than what the picture online shows.
