Awesome receiver. Bought for our home theater, with the addition of Martin Logan speakers, and it has been pretty amazing. Hubby likes that he can control it from the app.
I'm Happy with my new Denon Avr-x3700h the sound is amazing and video is great the only thing thant I'm not satisfied is the remote control I have been problem with setup button my tv don't show settings on the screen when pushing set up button I need help
What can i say. It's just great. Upgraded from an older Denon I've had for years. And the 3700 blows it out of the water. I was able to add 4 ceiling Atmos speakers now and it sounds amazing. Definitely worth the money. Glad i choose Denon again. Highly recommend.
Purchased this unit to replace a 12-year-old Denon that lost one of its speaker channels. The new unit was very easy to setup, on screen prompts were excellent to follow. The only issue, albeit minor, is that my DirecTV remote and Samsung TV remote seem to confuse the 3700's zone 1 power off. Had to figure out that you turn the DirectTV on first and then the Denon. The Denon remote is really easy to use and understand switching from zone 1 to zone 2. I was concerned that zone 2 audio would not work with the Monster speaker distribution unit connected to speakers in 4 other rooms. Tested one room at time and all rooms received audio without any issue. Note speakers in other rooms are connected to Niles volume controls. So now we have full sound though out the house. The Blue Tooth connection to our IPhone, which holds all our music files, was really easy to setup and steam to the Denon. We also connected a laptop computer using HDMI input on the Denon and that too works great - we can surf the net and stream You Tube to the Samsung TV which sounds great using the 5.1 surround sound setup in the family room. This unit is perfect for our needs.
AVR-X3700H Denon Home Theater amp has very high quality sound. The setup was very easy and came up on the attached TV automatically. The setup helped to tie together all the initial features very easily. The apps on my Apple Iphone were very necessary to have to be able to manipulate the more complicated features, but all the features can be worked with with the TV and the supplied remote. The HEOS app is required if you want to use the Internet Tuner. There are very many different built in sound profiles that help with optimizing the sound. So far this amp is an excellent replacement to my last 5.2 surround sound system. You can set this up as a stereo 2 speaker system or a 3 speaker system adding the center speaker or your can do a 5.1 or 5.2 system. It can also do a 7.2 or 9.2 speaker system. I have taken it that far yet. Is easy to add more speakers with the setup menus. I am very impressed with this product made by Denon.
Love , complex system will take me a while to fully use .my setup is 5.1.4. all klipsch speakers
Just purchased this receiver only had it for two weeks but im here to tell you its great sounding receiver was a Pioneer guy not anymore only concern i have it gets hot purchased a fan to keep it cool i have two bas x amps connected to my receiver what a difference
Looked brand new out of the box. I've been a professional home theater installer for years and have always preferred Denon for home theater. I had an AVR S750 but the 3700s discrete amplification is audibly noticeable in the small subtleties and the more quiet parts of a movie. There is also more detail and separation in movies as well as 5.1 recorded music tracks. The 3700 is also the first that calibrates both subs independently effectively combating standing wave drop out. The display is the same it's been for years but I don't buy a receiver to be pretty. If you want great performance for your mid to higher end audio/surround system, I would highly recommend the AVR X-3700
Receiver seems to be outstanding for power and flexibility. The Alexa app could be better. Will not play my Sirius only plays I heart. Also when I ask Alexa to shut the music off it does not shut the whole receiver off….
Went from a Onkyo to a Denon and can tell big difference. I have a 2 channel amp so I am running a 7.2.4 setup and the 3700 sounds great.
