I can not say enough good things about this great makeup remover! It is true to it's word. The first time I tried it, I decided to put it to the test and use it with my contacts in. It took off my eyeliner and mascarra with a several swipes and it did not burn or sting my eyes. The area around my eyes felt soft and nourished. It's every bit as gentle as it can be.
derma e makeup remover is the very best makeup remover I have ever used, and, believe me, I have tried them all. Nothing like this. It takes it all off first time, every time, without stripping your skin of its moisture, without breakouts if you have oily skin. It is also great for sensitive skin. Once you try it, I know you will make this product the only one to remove your makeup. It is great.
I have extremely sensitive eyes, especially in the spring with my seasonal allergies. Many years, I've had to forgo any mascara or eye makeup, because I couldn't find a remover that wasn't abrasive and irritating. This is the ONLY eye makeup remover I've used that doesn't exacerbate the allergies, that soothes when it goes on and is silky smooth to remove. I've tried really expensive removers, and they aren't nearly as good as this one.
I have never really use makeup removers before. Normally, I either wash my makeup off with a facial cleanser or gentle soap and water or use a face cream and wipe with a cloth. I have only used a makeup remover once before for my eyes, and that was because my eye makeup was waterproof. Now that I have tried this Derma E makeup remover, I have to say it works pretty good! The directions say to apply to your face, gently massage, and then wash it off or wipe it off with a tissue. I have been washing it off. It feels cool as you are wiping it. It is very gentle. My face feels clean afterward. For a brief moment, while it is drying, it feels a little sticky. Once your face is dry it feels very smooth, and the skin does not feel oily or dry. It feels as if it had a burst of nutrition! It has wonderful, soothing ingredients such as Chamomile, Cucumber, Bilberry, and Green Tea. Due to it's natural and healthy ingredients, you will find that your face feels so refreshed. I love it when my face feels refreshed, because it is a good sign of great nourishment and healing!
I've used this makeup remover as both an eye makeup remover and as a first step in a facial double-cleanse. It performs well as both, but I prefer it for my eyes. Its gentle and very effective. My eyes are sensitive and I dislike oily products. This causes no irritation and cleans away all traces of eye makeup, including mascara with no oily residue. I love it! and I definitely recommend it.
Last year I had eye surgery on both eyes and could not find a product that would not hurt my eyes as they had become very sensitive. I've now been using the Makeup Remover for over six months. I use the it for removing eye make-up. It is gentle and doesn't hurt my eyes. Absolutely recommend this product for anyone that has sensitive eyes or even if you don't.
Works very well, I like that it's natural and doesn't irritate my contact lenses as last eye makeup remover did. If my makeup's on heavy I may need to make 2 passes with it, but usually 1 will do. Completely removes every trace of makeup, very gentle and effective.
I've been using derma e Makeup Remover for about 10 years now. It is not oily, it doe not affect my eyes in anyway, I can rub it on and actually open my eyes, while doing something else, then rinsing off, if removes all mascara. I won't use anything else. It has a wonderful feel while cleaning and after.
I've tried lots of makeup removers, and this one by far is one of the better ones. I love that it's not oil-based and that it doesn't leave behind residue that requires an additional step to remove the remover. I recently purchased a bottle for a friend who's an actor, and he swears by this to get the heavy stage makeup completely off his skin. It's pricey, but so worth it!
When I bought this, I thought it was like micellar water. Its thicker, like an ampoule serum. I pour some in my hand and rub it on my face dry, to loosen and lift the makeup from my face. Then I wash it off with Derma-E gel charcoal cleanser. So it works well as a double-cleanse product and works well.
