This product is a perfect combination of acne fighting ingredients and moisturizer! It's name says it all, it balances your skin, offering refreshing moisture and controlling acne at the same time. It doesn't clog your pores or dry out your skin--this is the best acne control moisturizer I have ever used!
I have combination skin and have struggled to find a moisturiser that doesn't break me out but also fights my dry skin. I have been using this for several months now and it's helped me tremendously. It's light so I add a little more than directed for my dry patches but I haven't broken out in my other areas when I put it on my whole face. I love this line and will be buying again soon!
I've only recently experienced cystic acne and breakouts at 31-32. I've researched everything from MRSA, mold, keratosis, seborrheic irritations, and have not been able to get clear of incredibly painful cysts and glass-like "beads" around the skin surface (kind of like pre-scabs over pores and ingrown hairs on legs and chin). I finally understood to treat my skin as incredibly dry instead of oily, doing oil cleansing and a lot of steaming. Tea tree and silver replaced hydrogen peroxide, but still I've had the flaky, scabby, just troubled skin on face and legs. This cream - in one day - combined the hydration / moisturizer element I couldn't get from the natural oils alone with the antiseptic and healing properties the essential plant products provided. The dried sebum/dead skin that formed a layer over my real skin was melted away, ingrown hairs and buried pores opened and stayed open 12 hours, and the areas felt clean, not greasy. I've had this outbreak since May, so THANK YOU.
Since going vegan over 2 1/2 years ago, I have been struggling to find new skin care products that are effective for my sensitive acne-prone skin, but are also cruelty-free and vegan. I was very reluctant to try this product, as it does feel heavy when you try it on the back of your hand. But it's different when you put it on your face - you immediately feel soothed, nourished, but not heavy. As others have noted, the product does have a mediciney smell to it, but that smell dissipates quickly. In the morning, my skin is glowing, goes to work right away at existing break-out, and does not lead to further break-outs. I look forward to trying more products from Derma-E!
I use the face wash, serum, and the rebalancing cream from this line. I love them all. After trying dozens of prescription and over the counter acne products over the last 24 years these are the only products that keep my hormonal acne under control. Thank you!
This Vitamin A wrinkle cream helps keep skin smooth and firm. I've been using it for over a decade and I'm in my early 50s and am wrinkle free! I will continue to use it because it helps exfoliate skin and when we age I read it pretty much stops.
I have sensitive, acne-prone, oily/combination skin and this product has been amazing. It's lightweight, moisturizing, yet does not dry out my face! I'm able to wear it under makeup, or at night.
This moisturizer soaks in well and does not get shiny throughout the day. I have middle-aged skin but still get breakouts so this seems to work well. This seems to work well for my face, whereas the Tea Tree and Vitamin E Antiseptic cream did not work on my face.
I really wanted to try this product, due to having acne prone skin, so I used it for 1 week- morning and evening, but I noticed it was drying my skin very fast (as it said it would). So I reduced the usage to 3x a week, in the night and it seems to be working. However, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the tea tree scent is very high. Other than that, I wold DEF recommend this product. Just have to give it time.
Honestly, I don't think it's helped me at all. This is the second round of the acne product I've bought. Was hoping it would help my adult acne, but it's either not helping or is making it worse. It smells nice and feels good and I'm sure has helped others, but not me.
