[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dial kids body wash in water lily scent had a light, soft pleasant smell. Not overly scented or heavily perfumed. I found it to be gentle on my toddlers skin yet still effective enough to clean even on the muddiest and most messy days. The big pump top bottle makes it a good value. The bottle design, with it's curved shapes on both sides makes it easier to handle than traditional rounded or straight side shaped bottles, especially during a soapy,slippery bath!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the smell! I used this as a hand wash in the bathroom since I don't have small children and it has a great lasting scent. Let my hands soft so I would definitely use it as a body wash if needed.
Our doctor recently recommended Dial antibacterial wash to help topically treat folliculits on my daughter, who is two years old. Despite searching high and low, I could not find an antibacterial wash designed or recommended for children. I tried this and while the cleaning properties are good and I like the fact it is hypoallergenic and free of dyes, the perfume smell makes is quite noticeable and makes me skeptical. Perfurmes and other scents can be a common cause of skin irritations, especially in toddlers, but again, I was pressed to find one for toddlers that didn't have perfumes. Hopefully, this does not aggravate my daughter's condition. In hindsight, I wish the doctor could have given the specific brand of Dial she was referring to, if it exists at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fragrance was supposed to be of waterlily however it didn't smell like a lily but like a bottle of melted plastic not a pleasant scent at all.
Do not buy this product for your child. I have always trusted Dial brand soap and it left a terrible purple residue on my daughter's body after a single use. It looked like she was losing circulation in her body and we wondered why she was looking 'black and blue' all over and immediately scrubbed it off in the shower when we realized what it was from-vet disapppinted in this 'food coloring' product!
Dermatologist are warning of increased cases of rashes and sensitivity in children due to contact dermatitis from fragrances in commercial hygiene products. Fragrance free products are now trending and are in great demand. Hopefully Dial will get onboard with this trend and offer a fragrance free option. Until an alternative fragrance free product is offered, I would not recommend any of these fragranced products.
