This is such a great set. My son got this for his third birthday. He plays with it everyday. We can make a different scene for Diego to rescue his friends each time. I love to watch him act out saving the different animals (they are on the thinner blocks). It is a little difficult for him to build on his own, but with a little help he can put it together. This is such a great way for him to explore using his imagination. My 1 1/2 year old likes the pieces, too (even though he usually breaks whatever we had built).
My 3 year old loves Diego and loves his set because he can put the pieces together any way he like to and have fun.
My 2 and 5 year-old boys love playing with this set combined with a couple other small sets. We used the site-to-store shipping option which worked great.
