great 'do it yourself' needle point

This is my first attempt at needlepoint and I wanted to make a stocking for my daughter. It is a little tricky in some areas and detailed in others, but the directions give awesome tips on every kind of stitch. The pattern is colored and easy to read and the thread is already sorted. The stocking is a good size and the alphabet is easy to follow. For just over $20 including shipping (which arrived much earlier than expected) it is an amazing deal! I would highly recommended this brand and pattern to beginners and expert needlepointers!

Love these kits!

This is my third kit from this company. They are fun to work on and the children LOVE the stockings. On my first one, I read the directions improperly and used the wrong threads. The company graciously re supplied me...even though the fault was mine. If you are into heirloom crafting, this would be a good choice.

Colorful large stocking that is a work of art.

Wonderfully colorful needlepoint stocking. I decided to needlepoint the name at the top border, plenty of room to do that. I've made other needlepoint stockings. I choose to make the sides and the back out of different materials so the stocking is larger for inserting stocking suffers. It's going to look great hanging from my fireplace. I've done needlepoint and stitchery for many years. Needlepoint is easy for a beginner. It can be a bit tedious but the results make it worth every stitch and it will be an heirloom.

not as expected. no needle included not wool yarn, but cotton floss. small grid very disappointed
