This Discgear Auto 100 is the best organizer EVER! I don't have to worry about breaking DVD's trying to get them out of their original packaging. I don't have to worry about the DVD's getting scratched. It's just the perfect thing ever! I now have 4 of these to organize my DVD collection - including TV series on DVD. So easy to use! And with the online indexing, you can change around your discs any way you want them - and then print out your updated index. It's wonderful! I'm planning on buying more for my computer CD's and DVD's. A lot easier than buying case after case - and it takes up less room too! A gotta have "Best Buy"!!
I got this hoping that it would help with the volume of DVD cases I had in our living room. I now have 6 of them (that's 600 DVD's) in approximately 3 square feet. I have so much more room now. Not only are these holders great, the Discgear website keeps track of what you have, will make labels for the discs if needed and will print out the completed index for each box. The only thing I do suggest is that you write what number each disc is on the disc itself so that it takes less time to return to it's proper place. I also have each box labeled on the outside with the numbers of the Disc's inside, such as: 1 - 100, 101 - 200, etc. I am so happy I found these! They have made my life so much easier and my 11 year old son is good about returning them where they belong.
Talk about value. I was considering the purchase of this product from The Sharper Image for $59.99 each and was elated to find it here for just $31.99 each. I ordered four of the units through Walmart.com for in store pick-up. I had read a review warning about theirs being damaged en route, so I was very careful to inspect them when I got them home. In my case, everything went smoothly with the transaction and the product was received on time and undamaged. While the Discgear Auto 100 is primarily of plastic construct with faux leather panels, I did not have problems with the panels pealing as I had read in one review. They look nice, work great and they're fairly solid units, though I wouldn't want to drop one. The online labeling system works fine, but could definitely be improved in the way of customization. All in all, this is a great product at a great price. If you've got a large media collection, this product can help organize it and reduce the bulk greatly.
Price is exceptional and with free to store shipping, it can't be beat!!! I won't buy another of these anywhere else but here!!! I use it for storing my DVDs and they save so much on room!!! (Get rid of all those cases that your DVDs come in!!! Save a few though, who knows, you might need one case some day!!!)
This is our 3rd discgear box. We use them to hold all our CD's and DVD 's . I just love the guide sheet at the bottom ofthe box . I would rrecommend any one who have a housefull of cd's, dvd 's or gamers to get a couple . There great
was the best price we could find online for this product. Was a little worried with some of the other reviews. but ours came completely undamaged. Had the foe leather exterior (not the hard plastic that some of the others reported). Overall we are thrilled with the product. It does exactly what we hoped. Gave it 4 out of 5 because the discgear website to print off the index isn't the most user friendly. other than that we love it! (ordered 5 and plan to order a couple more)
I am especially impressed with the website that helps organize our collection. It is very stable, and even maintained our inputted data after we lost internet connection and had to resume our work.
I am in need of something to organize my CDs that won't take up a lot of room. My mom has a couple of these she bought from another site and she loves them. I saw the price here and decided to order a couple. I was really excited when they arrived and opened the box only to find the back was peeling off one of them and the other was cracked on the bottom. I returned them to the store and placed another order. My replacements arrived today and the exact same thing is wrong with them. I will not be ordering these again from walmart even if that means paying more money at another site. I am severely disappointed and think walmart needs to work on packaing items more securely. Perhaps these broke because they were just placed in a box with only a crumpled piece of paper to protect them.
Great product, but out of 5 only 2 were not broken. Very dissapointing. Someone is very rough either at Walmart or the delivey company. Very frustrating. I will not order again from Walmart, I will order from the company. They were not broken when I got them directly from discgear.
