I am very pleased at the quality of the glove I purchased. However, it is for a Christmas present, so I cannot give any more of an opinion.
We love the Discovery Kids Glow Star Globe! I was looking for a globe to use with my sons in Geography. I homeschool a fourth grader and a second grader. I was so pleased to find this globe because my fourth grader will be learning about the constellations this year, too. The globe is a nice desk top size and the constellations show up very well at night. I think any child interested in Geography and or the stars would love this globe!
My daughter received this globe as a christmas gift, after christmas and she really is in love with the globe.
My 8 yr old received this for Christmas and love it. Would have been nice to be able to plug up as well as use batteries, that way it could be used like a night light.
We love this globe so far. The only problem I have with it is that I cannot get it to "snap" securely onto the base, so we have to be really careful when moving it. The kids LOVE the stars though!
I bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. He is very much into learning about countries. He loves the fact that it lights up at nights and you can see the stars. The only complaint I have is the fact that the globe does not lock securely into the base. The globe itself comes out two easily. Because I have two boys and they are very active, they are always transporting things from room to room, I am always scared that that it will fall and break. They should find a better way to secure to base. Othewise, it is a great globe.
