WAS ON MY WAY TO PICK UP ANOTHER RAPTOR AND ENDED UP GRABBING ONE OF THESE TOO! This thing is built solid...super easy to put together...RADIO IS FM! so good so far....i noticed it's made by the same company as my sons quad so i'm pretty confident this should bring us some good times!
we bought this for our daughters b-day today and she loves it. someone else said it goes slow but ir goes faster than any power wheels we have owned its great for our 4 year old if you are thinking about buying this go for it u wont be disapointed it also goes great through the grass and gravel and climbs hills perfectly
My son and daughter both have their own car. This one is my daughter's. Assembly was very quick and she loves to play with this. Works really well. I saved a lot of money for getting it shipped to my local Wal-Mart!!
We bought this for my daughter in Jan. 2010 for her 3rd b-day, she LOVES this car!!! it works great, we have had no problems with the car it self, the ONLY problem that we have come across is that the radio drains batteries, but that is it. The car holds a charge very well, we charge it every few days and it will go 3 days. we have a huge hill to come up our street and it makes it up no problem even when the battery is low. The doors open which she and her friends love, our neighbor has car and the doors do not open, so he likes hers better. it fits 2 kids perfect. I can't say enough LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
I just bought the Princess for my 3 year old daughter for christmas and it is so beautiful. I got it on sale for 198.00 which is a great price for us. I did have a little trouble assembling it but only because I opened everything without reading anything and keeping everything in order. The bag where the 2 front wheels come in are labeled FWD meaning forward and I didn't see that and I thought that the back axle was too short for the back tires. So if you have that same problem just switch the tires you can tell because the ones in back have a little slot that clicks on. Besides that which wasn't the companys fault it was mine thats all the trouble I had with putting it together. I can't wait for my daughter to ride it on christmas morning. She already saw it but i told her that santa took it to wrap it and put the battery in it so it could work for her. lol The decals on this are really pretty, perfect for your little princess. Hope this helps any buyers out there. I'm charging the battery now so that I can make sure it works before christmas morning so she could just get up and go. Will post another review if I have any problems.
This was so easy to assemble and only took about 8 minutes to put the 4 wheels on. Tools included. All stickers are already on. It came with the 12 volt battery but not the 4 AA's for the Radio which plays pre recorded Disney Tunes, or FM Stations. The doors open. Holds 2 kids with a weight limit of roughly 135 lbs. Metal tubes running length of under side of the body provide additional support. It has reverse and two forward speeds. Low takes the kids to 2.5 MPH and high once the speed restrictor screw is removed goes to 5 MPH. Our Daughter loves it. Our local Wal-Mart carries this item
The Good My wife and I bought this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She was able to drive it on her birthday and she loves it. It works great and has great traction on grass and pavement. The radio does pick up FM stations as stated. It has a battery charge indicator built into the console. Tips Make sure you move or secure any lightweight objects that could be struck by this jeep it can and probably will move them. Use caution around slides. My daughter hit her slide just right and the jeep started up the slide. In the instruction book look at the page that shows what is included. Make sure you have the parts listed on this page. This may save you time searching for parts that the book instructs you to use that are not included and not listed as included. I am referring to the two couplers that are placed on the front axle. I do not know if this part would even assemble properly if it was included. There is a threaded bolt included for securing the seat. The seat is already bolted in. I could not find a/the location for the bolt. The Bad Upon opening the product to assemble it. I noticed the following. The bumper was cracked in-two in two different places. The driver side door and car frame had obvious stress marks. (white lines that plastic can receive when under pressure) The front visor (small windshield) was incorrectly assembled and the hood has to be forcefully closed due to poor construction. The radio volume control is very sensitive it can go from quiet to very loud with barley turning it. Overall I give this vehicle a good rating.
We bought this along with the quad for our kids at Christmas and I must say we're disapointed. The turn ratio is very poor, and the traction leaves much to be desired. She get's so frustrated and mainly just sits in it watching her brother enjoy his quad. It's sad! So we're getting her the pink quad and I'll be giving this to my granddaughter.
First of all, it is NOT a Power Wheels product. It is slower than a Power Wheels (my daughter can't keep up with her brother's Arctic Cat) and the turning radius is a lot less than a Power Wheels. Quality is also not 5 stars. The passenger door doesn't stays closed all the time. It keeps getting slightly open. They only great thing about it is the Princesses stickers. My daughter loved it when she found it under the Christmas tree since she is a Disney Princesses fan.
I had read several reviews prior to ordering and decided to take a chance regardless of all the negative feedback. The reviews turned out to be correct. I too was missing parts. Fortunately it was hardware I could purchase at the hardware stores but after spending as much as I spent, I should not have to go spend more money to purchase washers and nuts which should have been included. The passenger side door was also cracked and several pressure makrs were all over the doors on both sides. The crack didn't affect the function of the door but again, if you buy new, you expect it to be new. It took nearly two weeks to receive this product and disputing my issues would have left my daughter without a birthday present. The experience, overall, has been extremely frustrating. The product is not the quality I paid for but it is good enough to make a 3 year old happy. As a parent, I am disappointed.
