This cologne is swoon worthy! Not only does it smell good and have just the right amount of intensity but a guy is sure to get complimented while wearing it. At least that's the experience we have had. I'm always looking for new colognes to pick up and sometimes a couple sprays in the store just isn't enough to know if you truly like a smell. Getting a small sample bottle was great because it has enough sprays for close to a week at a few pumps each time. I tried Intenso as my 2nd sample and it is by far my favorite one. I'm not usually into the woody, sweeter smelling colognes. My normal preference is one with notes of citrus and a little spice. So here are some notes on this cologne: Pros: * It's the perfect combination of fragrance notes. They all just come together perfectly. * The moepel accord seems to be responsible for the great unique smell I couldn't identify. * Lasts all day long. One of the longest lasting cologne fragrances I've tried. * Perfect as a casual cologne or for going out/ a special occasion. Cons: * The smell is going to be something you really like or flat out don't like. The uniqueness of it may not have much middle ground. * Description mentions that the smell is their interpretation of modern tobacco. I didn't smell anything like tobacco. In my case that was a good thing but if it's something you would buy the product for, take note. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was reluctant to try Intenso because I thought it would be an overwhelming scent. Boy was I wrong. This cologne has a pleasant smell(not to per-fumy) with I guess what could be described as sandalwood. It is not flowery like some of the others I tested and it definitely does NOT smell like dad's aftershave. Only one spay on the nape of my neck and it lasted all day without being overpowering. My wife likes it as well which in itself is a HUGE accomplishment as she gets migraines from just about all colognes. Great cologne
Smells great! Would recommend.
My husband liked this scent the best. He felt like it held out throughout the day and got better as it mixed with his chemistry. He still prefers his Estee Lauder Pleasures thought. While I think this smells nice, I'm not the one wearing it. My husband did not like this one. He said compared to other cologne he's tried it's not terrible, but it definitely is a little too fruity/floral smelling for him. He prefers the stronger more masculine scents. Before getting the product we looked up reviews and they were mostly positive. That being said, everyone's tastes are different. If you're into a more floral cologne you should try this one out!! this smelled a bit "older" to me. not very sexy smelling. I am a fan of oriental fragrances, but his just smelled too powdery for me. I could not think of even one occasion to which I would wear this fragrance. I was a bit disappointed with this scent because typically I like D&G fragrances.
