I have a sensitivity to a lot of hair products and Dove mousse never makes me itch. It is light and always creates nicely sculptured curls.
I really love thhis mousse.... You dont need to use too much at the time..just a little will do a great job!!!
and conditioner w this.and some frizz stuff.
I was really disappointed in this product because I thought a 'defining mousse' wouldn't have silicone in it. My hair is naturally thin and bodiless and any product with 'silicone' type ingredients will make the problems worse. I looked for reviews on the internet and didn't find any that reported these kind of problems. The first time I tried this product my hair was so slick, soft, and lifeless I couldn't even back comb it in the crown! I can only recommend this product to someone who needs the smoothing and softening qualities of a product with silicone in it. I really liked Suave Professionals Healthy Curls Scrunching Mousse but no one has it in stock any more. After being disappointed by the Dove product I tried Herbal Essences Curl Boosting Mousse Totally Twisted and it worked as well as the Suave product.
