Speakers sound really clear with nice lows.. I ordered an amp from walmart to give them the power they need to produce the same quality sound at a higher volume.. 50 watts per channel in-dash mp3 player isnt enough to push these speakers more than 20 on the volume and still sound decent.. great speakers need an amp.
they fit well, have a nice cover that isn't in some garish neon colored thing. Sound is incredible with little distortion even turned up. For the money they are excellent quality.
I've installed these in a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix LE and they sound so good and they produce nice clean bass for cheap. Speakers. I will recommend these to other people.
We installed these in my sons Lincoln Towncar and are TOTALLY impressed!!!!! GREAT sound, handles the power from an amp wonderfully!!!! I HIGHLY recommend these speakers!!!!!
I bought these speakers cause they were cheap, said they handled high watts and needed something for the stereo cooler I was building. I didnt expect much from these but man was I wrong! THESE SPEAKERS ARE NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME! Not only do they produce extremely high quality sound, they can handle lots of power. I powered these with a 600 watt amp and they not only handle it, they are loud, clear and produce very good bass. I actually ordered another pair to install in my truck cause I was so impressed with the sound out of my stereo cooler, which normally isnt very good. If you are looking for a high quality speaker at a very good price, these are the ones for you. You will definitely be impressed!
The speakers took a month to arrive but were worth the wait. I have been using them for two months in an enclosed case for under eve of the roof of my house with a mini amp that has a Bluetooth receiver attached to it. The amp has a 20 watt output and even with that low output these speakers sound very good. For my use they work with better than I had hoped and at a fraction of the cost of equal sounding
The speaker's quality is terrific. But, the install and adaptations was a bear. I assumed it would be an easy replacement of the original. No crackling or hissing. Good highs and lows. In 15 years, I'd do it again.
I put a set in a 99 Buick and a 98 Dodge Ram. Speakers have good clarity on highs, but lack the deeper bass. Overall they are good speakers for the $$
