I love the way this product smells. It is a light lotion and isn't heavy feeling it greasy. Just a tiny bit goes a long way. I also love that there's no harsh ingredients in it.
The smell will bring me back to purchase every time.
The lotion is absorbed into the skin faster than others I have tried. It leaves no oily residue and has a pleasant not overpowering scent. Bottom line is that it works and I would recommend this to anyone.
I really enjoy this scent and it lasts all day. The lotion is not as hydrating as I would have thought but still works adequately.
If you enjoy premium skin care and you haven't treated yourself to Dr. Bronner's lotion yet then you are not being nice to yourself. Order some and treat yourself! Or someone you really really love! Or someone who needs some something good to happen to them! This is an all around guilt free good for the planet kind of experience that you can have every day. 2000 out of 10 recommend.
I like this lotion, its nice and thin but not too thin. I wish the sent wasn't so strong, the sent is great its just packed in there too much for me.
I am not necessarily fond of “Patchouli” but I wanted to try something new, and this one was interesting! I personally think it smells more like one of those herbal health stores, if you know what I mean. Very earthy, but the consistency and coverage of the lotion itself is like butter—a little goes a long way. It's thin but it covers well, and it makes my hands feel soft. I mostly keep it in the guest bathroom because it pairs well with my Dr. Bronner's soap, which can be a bit drying on the hand. It's nice having something to balance out the soap. May try a different scent next time, though!
I don't mind the consistency of this lotion like some other reviewers did. It is on the thin side but it's really easy to rub in. The smell is what I have a problem with. I thought it would be a little more earthy like some of my other Dr Bronners products, but the “patchouli” is more like a sweet garbage smell. I can't use it, but I'd like to try a different scent.
I want to have this work, but it doesnt. It is a thin lotion like lubriderm. It doesnt seem to last very long, and it seems to dry my skin after a few hours. I have two assumptions that it doesnt last more than a few hours. Or requires rigorous application. The smell isnt the best either as the lime is overpowered by a smell of 70s perfume.
I'm a 50+ year Dr Bronners soaps fan... This was my first purchase of your lotions. I am also a long time patchouli fan... have used many versions of the scent over the years. I'll be straightforward ... the patchouli scent of this lotion is totally overwhelming, extremely strong and woody, and I had to thoroughly wash it off with several scrubbings. I had bought 2x to give one as a gift, and I honestly wouldn't give it to anyone. The other 2 scents I bought (Orange lavender and Lavender Coconut) were fine, if a little thin texture-wise. But P-U on the scent, sorry to rate it down, but it's pretty awful!
