I am a member of Bazaarvoice and TryIt Sampling and received for free a pair of Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support to sample and give my honest feedback on. They felt kind of weird in my shoes at first, but promising after about 2 or 3 days they broke in and now they feel like they came with the shoes. These have a good firm arch support. The insoles provided me with the most incredible support that I have ever witnessed. I did not have an ounce of pain after my third shift of wearing them last night. Soft and supportive. It is like walking on a memory foam mattress. There are multiple zones of support within this insert. First you notice every step feels softer, then you notice that your hard stepping heel has a cushier landing and then you realize that you arch has support and the pressure from each step is distributed over a larger area. Your legs notice a difference instantly. If you spend long periods on your feet, consider this like a portable anti-fatigue mat. Absolutely fabulous and easily customized to fit your shoe with a guide for various shoe sizes marked on the bottom of the insert. I've tried them in slippers and dress shoes without issue. Dr.Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support are awesome. Since I have been wearing this in my shoes my back pain is much better . I also feel like I am walking on a cloud they are so soft on my foot . They are super easy to cut down to size to fit your shoes. I have used prescription orthotics and these are quite comparable without the prescription price. They are lightweight and don't add a lot of bulk to your shoes like some orthotics. They make my shoes more comfortable as I am on my feet a lot every day. They seem to keep my feet from sweating when it's warm. The material is very soft and flexible, it's made of excellent quality, It comes marked below with sizes from 8 to 12 and you can adjust or cut it to the size that you feel more comfortable. I purchased the Dr. Scholl's insoles for Big Boys. I'm 6'2” 270lbs, and my back would hurt after a long day on my feet, but with these insoles, my back is pain free. My heels are still pretty drained, but overall it's tolerable.
Rob was definitely in a lot of pain from walking on blacktop and concrete for 8 to 10 hours everyday. So he decided that some Dr. Scholl's might help since his feet and his lower back were both in such pain. So after getting the Dr. Scholl's Pain relief orthotics he did notice such a difference. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my husband who walks around and inspects items/people in a tool and safety supply warehouse. The floor is that of a typical warehouse concrete slab that is terrible on your feet and body. He was so happy to get these insoles for his boots, and immediately cut them to size. It was relatively easy to cut and insert, and he said it felt like he was walking on marshmallows! After about a week of use, he has noted that his lower back pain and foot pain has not been like it was before! He is coming home a bit more energized and in less pain. Overall they are nice inserts for someone who walks on hard flooring all day long.
I really liked the Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support. I am a medic and am often on my feet for twelve hours a day wearing boots. Finding comfortable boots isn't just a luxury but it's essential for my work. When I received my Orthotics, I was at first shocked by how large they were but they have cut outs for standard shoe sizing. I double checked that my Orthotics would fit into my boots prior to cutting them and noticed that the sizing was slightly off which made the cutting more difficult which is why I took one star away from the review. Besides that I've used the Orthotics for a number of days now and they are pretty comfortable overall. It did, however take 2 or 3 days to get used to having something inside of my boot other than just my foot! After becoming used to the Orthotics being in the boot, they are very comfortable and definitely reduced the foot and leg pain I used to get towards the end of my shifts. This is the first time I have ever gotten Orthotics for my feet and I would recommend them to other people that are on their feet all day and move around a lot. I liked the comfort but I totally hate the squeaking noise it makes. I might just go back to my old soles.
Haven't noticed anything positive since using the insole. Lower back pain is still persistent from being on concrete all day at work.
