Many of the reviews below me will have a small rant about how this is not a 'Wii' controller. Please take the time to read the product description all the way through. This remote is a wireless GameCube remote programmed to work on the Wii console. This remote will allow you to play your GameCube games on the Wii- but will not work with Normal Wii games. You will need a GameCube controller if you want to play ANY GameCube games on the Wii, a normal Wii remote will not work. Also make sure you have a GameCube memory card! You can insert it into the Wii console by opening the top of the Wii and pushing it in. Happy Gameing!
If you want to play GameCube games on a WII console this is the controller for you! The wireless feature makes it so easy to play with from any where in a (big) room. The controller looks very cool as well because of the LED lights.When you play with it, you can feel that it's a well made controller. The package comes with a controller and a receiver. On the WII console, there are two covers, next to the power button. After you open the covers, plug the receiver to the controller conection slots that's close to you. The slot in the rear is for the GameCube memory card. If you lost your card you can buy a used one at a Gamestop store. I bought mine for $3
This wireless controller for the gamecube is by far the best I've found (besides the originals, of course). I have not experienced any complications, range is great, fully functional and fits good in your hands. I bought both this one & one by Cables Unlimited and I would buy only the Dreamgear controller again. Never will I get the Cables Unlimited ever again.
i love this more than my son, no more tripping over wires and cords he can lay,stand, and sit anywhere and not be in danger of any cords being snatched out and damaging his game component
This is a wonderful controller it does work with OLDER WII games such as mario. I down loaded mario off the game system then when i went to play it it said I needed this controller and it worked. You can Not play New wii games with this controller.
My son love this item. You get your money's worth.
This thing is so cool with the blue lights..If you own smashbrothers for the Wii this is a must have!
I bought this product thinking it wouldn't work for my gamecube but it did and it works spectacularly if buttons dont work wiggle the reciever a few times and then it will. ~Satisfied owner of gamecube and wireless remote
Good buy, I had to order it while I'm overseas in Kuwait and I was afraid that it would be too small to feel comfortable in my hands. It turns out it wasn't.
It said it was for Wii, but the fine print is that it is only for Gamebox games played on the Wii. Normal Wii games don't work with it. What a disappointment and waste of time.
