In addition to crutches I got this little scooter for around the house after my Achilles rupture. I love the single brake handle and easy parking brake operation. This knee scooter is easy to assemble, set up, and operate. It has a cute basket which turns out to be an essential feature. When locked, the seat makes a good foot stool. All around, a handy, helpful aid.
This knee scooter with a basket has been a true lifesaver for me to get around the house while I'm in a cast to my knee. It's easily carried to a different floor if needed. It's slim enough to get around different rooms with furniture. The baskets allows me to carry things from room to room. I feel more sturdy on the knee scooter rather than crutches.
My husband has to be off one foot (reconstruction
Poor packaging. Cardboard box not strong enough. It was bent and punctured in several places. Larger turning circle than others tested and this is a strong negative.
We purchased this walker for $129.99 and it was well worth the money. My wife had foot surgery and is unable to put any weight on her left foot for at least 2 weeks if not longer. This in my opinion is a much safer way to get around verses crutches. It is well built and finished well for the price.
I broke my ankle and immediately started looking for a knee scooter. I found this one at a great price compared to others I came across. Assembly was quick and easy, both the knee "padding" and handle bars are adjustable to your height, and I looooove the basket. I say "padding" because that part is hard as a rock (the reason for giving four out of five stars), so you'll definitely need some sort of mini pillow or added cushion to make it comfortable enough to use longer than a couple of minutes. Other than that, this scooter does the job. The wide turns don't bother me, they actually make me feel safer/stable knowing I won't tip over that easily. Overall, I'd say this scooter is a better alternative than crutches.
Game changer vs crutches. Easy to navigate. Adjstable. Fits in back seat of car. Good quality - excellent value.
Having to stay off my broken leg for at least 4 to 6 weeks, this walking aid makes getting around easier than using a walker. It is, however, not too easy to maneuver in a small house, especially a small bathroom. All in all though, I'm glad to have it.
Steering limiter tab broke right off the frame causing me to crash. Its going back.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I have had this product 12 days and have used it very little. The brake set/release assembly has fallen off twice. This assembly consist of an aluminum button stem with a spring on it and a pop ring holding the button and spring in place. The pop ring falls off when brake is released and the button and spring fly off. I called manufacturer who referred me to the parts supplier. If I was a fool, I could buy and extra spring for $21 but to get the pop ring, I must buy the entire brake assembly and cable. Didn't even bother to ask how much that is! Also, the knee pads are EXTREMELY HARD. And the turning radius is so huge. I understand that stability is important, but this knee scooter functions poorly.
