I have been told to double cane walk by a physical therapist who didn't seem to care for the idea of using these. I did my research and found out most europeans used these instead. I've gotten very stable walking, easily no bobbing or swaying and my posture is perfect and upright! I was becoming a bent over 53 year old looking like an old lady! I don't care if I have use these until my dying day! They are sturdy, pretty blue, and easy to get used to. Only need to have pockets or a across the should bag to carry stuff, but you can easily hold these in one hand until you handle your items. Also I used my homemade cushions, no need to buy anything more to ease the hardness of the plastic grips, and sewed on crocheted dishcloths and crocheted it all together to make a sleeve.
I ordered two crutches thinking that I was ordering one set of crutches. Instead I received two sets of crutches... a total of 4. The website should indicate that you are ordering a "set".
They're light weight, easily adjustable and comfortable. They're perfect for people who just need assistance with their mobility. Not designed for full time use to bear full weight. If you can't bear weight on your legs, get a heavier set.
These work great at keeping the pressure of the knees and hips. They are light and strong also come 2 per order.
Very light in weight but does not lock in arms as the standards do. Need to get used to it.
These are the best and cheapes forearm crutches made. Unfortunately they no longer make them.
I use these crutches and they are so comfortable to use. Very easy to use. So much eaiser to use compared to the under the arm crutches. Unfortunately there is only 2 colors
Yes, you get two sticks, not just one. ( a pair ) I am European so I am glad to bye it in USA. Good delivery ( Fedex) I like that they are light, fun blue, but do the job, especially changing height is smooth and fast. Thank you for the large selection an customer critiques, I got what I need.
I love the style and the product. The only thing I would say is that because in the ad it says crutch and there is a picture of one only i bought two thinking that they were selling them individually. So it was even better really because it was cheaper than I thought for a pair.
Because this is a pair, a crutch can be used individually or with the other depending on how much support is needed. As a lightweight alternative, though, using them as a pair is probably advisable. I do have a heavier forearm crutch that I can use solely. I purchased this pair for the times when I felt able to walk but slightly less mobile than usual. The downside to a pair, of course, is not having a free hand. Just as a side note, I also purchased a stabilizing base for my solo crutch which enables it to stand on its own. I haven't yet made the decision to do that for this pair, but it would probably make them a little less cumbersome.
