I actually do not use this type for taping boxes. I use it for laminating cards that I use to memorize Bible verses. it is strong and clear. I use a paper clip under the end of the tape so it don't make contact with itself. cuz when that happens it's hard to get it going again I buy one of these every 3 months.
This makes it easier to pick up the tape after each use. I didn't have a hard time finding the end of the tape like I would have if I had purchased the roll of tape itself.
Very strong package sealing tape. My only complaint is the dispenser which has a tendency to let the tape curl back up and seal over the remainder of the roll.
It works ok once you get it off the roll. The lifted end doesn't have a good place to keep near the blade. Folding it under is a PITA when doing several boxes. The tape end drops onto the roll and is so thin that it disappears. Once you find it, it.pulls up in splinters and wastes a ton of tape and time.
I never thought I could have such a strong opinion about a roll of tape, seriously. Other than the price, what could go wrong? Oh my gosh, this is the WORST roll of tape I have ever had the displeasure of having to fight with. This tape is even worse than the dollar store scotch tape that doesn't cut and doesn't stick. I have gnarly nails now from trying to pick at it to get it going or keep it going. It rips, it splits, and it doesn't stay in the dispenser where it belongs. I always fold the edge over so I can easily start the tape at all times. Even doing that, I still waste yards of tape fighting with it! I am gobsmacked at how awful this tape is. Even after you finally get it going, it gets caught on itself or something and splits down the middle, leaving you to start picking at it again. I just wrestled with it for the last time. I had to seal a small box to ship my phone back and it took me 15min. That's ludicrous! I'm going to buy a better tape and stop complaining about the cost because this was cheap, but not after all the time and tape that was wasted, I. addition to the frustration I got from using this tape. I was two seconds from needing a padded room. My only solace was writing this review and saving someone else from my detriment. You're welcome.
So I bought these, really liked them, put different laces in them to make them slip on for my child. Within 3 weeks the bottoms are already shredding - so basically the soles are crap. These will not last long/nor hold up. My son likes them, says they are comfortable. So they are good for the time they do last. But not worth spending money on them if you don't have to. I'd rather have spent the $16 towards better shoes.
I really hate to do this, but 99.99% of my reviews have been product positive. This product was a miss. Pulling the tape off the reel, it kept splitting and I would have to start over trying to get it whole and usable again. Very frustrating as the tape kept splitting.
Not easy to use at all. Can’t use it with one hand because the part that’s supposed to cut the tape isn’t sharp enough, so it’s useless. But even worse, the tape rips and SPLITS IN THE MIDDLE, so I can’t get a complete piece of tape once it does that. Never had this problem with the Walmart brand Pen and Gear or the 3M tapes.
Luckily I wasn't using it to hold a package together the tape had no stick. I just wanted to hold a tiny little wire in place and the tape keeps coming off. I have to get better sticking tape to do a simple job. I bought it because it said heavy duty but in no way shape or form is it heavy duty
It's ridiculous! I received a dirty and used tape. Please look at the photo. The tape has already been used.
