When you shop at Walmart, you're probably shopping for Value. That means that you get the most amount of meters for the price. If you're looking for some heavy-duty packaging tape that is clear and has a good price, this fits the bill. You get 300 Meters. 6 rolls. They work as you should expect the standard clear duct tape to work. I hope the photos are helpful I giving you an idea of the size.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had purchased some packing tape from a dollar store, thinking it would be sufficient for securing cardboard boxes for a move. But it didn't take long to figure out that it would not hold up well. So I found the Duck Brand at Walmart, hoping it would be a bit better. It did not disappoint! It was fantastic! Easy to use, secures well, worked well on the cardboard boxes, as well as for securing plastic containers. I was definitely grateful for this good quality tape for my move.
This tape does the job it was designed to do. Works properly every time I use it. Little waste with this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were organizing our back porch and storing things in boxes. This tape was perfect for taping the boxes. It's actually pretty thick. I think I like this smaller sized tape for packing vs the original size. It seems easier to grip and it seems to waste less tape. It adheres nicely too. Very heavy duty!
I used this side-by-side against a competing product. The Duck brand was superior in terms of ease of use, apparent strength (no formal testing, just my observation during packing boxes), and even being able to "find" the end when I let the tape roll back onto the roll. I also was impressed by the free delivery. I was given an arrival date of about 2 weeks, but it actually arrived the next day. This may be a fluke because I live a couple of hours from where it was shipped, but it was a very nice surprise.
The Duck HD Clear Packaging Tape is an excellent tape to use for shipping, moving, and storage. The adhesive always holds. No peeling up after time.
This tape is a great value. This 3 inch tape is hard to find so we appreciate being able to purchase it at the Walmart website.
I tried to submit my review without applying any stars because this tape doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. The ABSOLUTE WORST - This tape barely sticks to itself. See the attached photo - The label was taped onto the box in the evening and when I went to mail it the next morning, I had to retape the tape. Look at the picture and see how the tape lifted off the cardboard box. Terrible - Terrible - Did I say, Terrible? Yes I did.
You will spend more time trying to get an straight cut of tape without tearing tape and splitting it in multiple pieces. Very frustrating to use, will never purchase again and will be returning remaining rolls to Walmart and let them know. Has this company even taken the time to test their product? Total garbage I have now made the mistake twice and remembered after I started using it this 2nd time how the tape tears into multiple strips when you try to unroll it, which prompted me to post this review so others will know.
