Hard to remove from paper, falls apart

I got this for the first time, and when trying to remove the tattoos from the paper they crumbled and ripped and fell apart. Living in Florida, i thought maybe it was the heat. so i went back to the store and bought a new one and came home and put it in the freezer over night. I was able to get 3 of the 6 tattoos off, with little tears in them. the others were too thin or something and wouldn't come off at all. no matter how i tried it just crumbled and ripped. The package makes it seem like it just simply pulls from the paper, and it doesn't.
