I read the reviews posted by other users of the Dymo Printers. Which by the way are excellent printers. I have used the 450 Twin Turbo at my hom and Ofice for several years. It seems by most of the reviewrs that they are expecting the Dymo Printers to print postage for them. WRONG!!! The DYMO PRINTERS ARE ONLY THE PRINING DEVICE USED ON A POSTAGE GENERATOR SOFTWARE, SUCH AS STAMPS AND INDICIA. KEEP THIS ON YOUR HEAD BEFORE INVESTING ON THIS EXCELLENT PRINTERS. DYMO IS NOT AUTORIZED TO GENERATE POSTAGE FOR YOU!!!
I bought this label thinking I could get the template so I could do other things than postage but I can't even find another label of the same size to do my own things on it
They say this will work with Ebay postage but it is too short. Ebay and Paypal postage will run off the end just a little and the bar code that goes in the Recipient area also runs onto the Postage area so to use the Bar code, you would have to put it right next to the Postage part of the label. I got the 99019 labels and they work just fine. I am giving this low ratings, but only because I wanted to use it for internet postage, but you can't with Ebay and Paypal....only ones I tested it with. Dymo, please don't advertise this for postage since it can't be used for it the way people would think.
I bought the 450 turbo twin and the 30383 labels because I thought it would solve my postage/address label needs. When I went to select the appropriate template - OOPS! - No template. When I tried to design my own label - OOPS! - No postage object. Where is the template?
As all the other reviews state, there is no template. All of the responses from DYMO state to use a third party. That's great, there is no third party to use. Returning the printer and my labels and advising all of teams to do so as well.
