Easy to set up. Worked right our of the box. Easily cut the lawn on one charge with enough left over to do another half. Heavier & noisier than expected but quieter than a gas mower. Charges in 15 hours. Battery removes so you can store it indoors for the winter & leave mower in the garage. After a gas mower that was always difficult to start especially the 1st few mows in the spring, this is heaven.
Does my small lawn (5000 sq ft) twice on one charge. Have used only in bagging mode and it picks up well. Heavier than expected at 60 lbs., but OK for me. Cuts pretty close to edges, reducing extra trimming. 20-inch swath vs. 18 or 19 is a plus.
Mowing a lawn is work whether it is a gasoline, electric or battery powered mower. BUT, my first week out, it has done a good job taking down the 2 foot high weeds that one of the grasses puts out, along with the more normal greens. No oil or gasoline to store or worry about buying. The battery seemed to have run longer than I expected. (When I was Really tired, I was HOPING it was at the end of its power and time to recharge!
We ordered online & had the mower delivered to our house. The box arrived with quite a bit of damage, but the mower was okay & all the parts were there. Assembly was easy. The battery charged overnight (it's really heavy!), and we mowed the next day. It's not self-propelled, so it took quite a bit of effort to push through high St. Augustine grass in west central Florida, but it cut beautifully! I highly recommend this product!
This lawn mower is great. I was able to cut the lawn on all four sides of the house and still show a full charge after I was done. The only bad thing I found with the mower was the directions for the key operation was a little tricky at first but now that I know the trick it's not a problem. The bag is really nice and saves me time with no racking. The mower is a little heavy but that is to be expected since it has a battery. Just tilt the mover back and turn it around and you will see it's not that hard. This is a great buy for anyone.
This mower has the power to handle a quarter acre lot with ease. Use is easy and charging is a breeze. The quiet operation and lack of gas fumes make mowing more plesant, though still a chore.
This mower is quieter than a gas mower...and the first one we got was silent--because it was defective. The battery and charger were bad--diagnosed by a trip to a battery store. After trying a battery from the store, which was tedious to recharge, it appeared that the mower would only run for 10 minutes at a time. After quite a bit of time trying to locate the right person to help with the return of such a large object, we finally got a replacement. The new mower works well. The lawn looks nice and having a battery eliminates the need to make a run to the filling station refill the gas can. I also like the quieter mower. So, I think if we had gotten the second mower in our original purchase, I might really like this mower. However, the extra time required to actually acquire a working mower made this a rather stressful purchase.
Very happy with the mower. I mowed for 2 hours and the battery, was still going strong. The only things I dont like is that it is kinda heavy, and the little mud flapper thing that is at the back gos under the mower when pulling it backwards. But its a huge improvment from the loud smelly old gas lawn mower.
Everything about this product is GREAT - EXCEPT the weight. It is hard for me to turn it around considering my age(71) and health. Larger rear wheels would be helpful/
This starts beautifully. Battery life is great, mowed our yard 2 1/2 time before it required a charges. However our yard is small, lot size is 55x120. A bit heavy to push if you are mowing tall thick St.Augustine grass low. Two passes at different heights works well. And adjusting the height of all four wheels is one easy to use handle. Overall its just great.
