Worked perfectly, I used it in a corner which I thought might be a problem with the arm not being long enough. Not the case it worked perfectly and actually had room to spare. Even with the arm all the way to one side it was rigid enough that the TV stayed strait and the arm didn't flex.
This product does everthing it advertises it will do. It was very easy to install. I ordered two and am glad I did. They both are holding 19 inch TV's. With no issues. The bubble level is very easy to read and helps with the installation of the bracket.
This is the first time I've ever had a TV mounted to the wall and when I started the project it looked like the mounts and etc. would end up costing almost as much as the TV. When I got both of them and I put them up in less than an hour I was happy.
This mount does all of the things that other mounts do and more. In my case, I am using it to mount my projector on the ceiling and not a flat panel lcd television on the wall. I had to make my own mounting plate for the actual projector wtherwise it is used as is.
Unit is so easy to put up. It comes with directions but if you can't follow them you can also go to the web site on the package and there is a video presentation on putting this mount up. Only bad thing is this unit comes with a cheap useless stud finder that does not work well at all, but it is free so I am not going to complain.
Overall, this mount is pretty good. It holds the TV fine and functions nicely. However, the studfinder is garbage and the built-in level on the mount is completely off. We installed in on the wall based on the built-in level -- and ended up having to drill two more holes because the level doesn't work! We ended up using our laser level to get it right. Don't bother with the built-in level or the studfinder -- neither of them are worth a dime. Other than the so-called included items to make installation easier, the mount is good. We have a 19" plasma with built-in DVD player and it seems that it holds the TV very nicely.
The mount its self was easy to insta to the wall the level an the mount was evey helpful. Included was a stud finder, that was a accurate as my Stanley stud finder. The only problem I had was the screws forvided to attach the mount to the TV, they did not screw into the TV securely and one of tehm broke off this had to be drilled out at the risk of the TV and a differnt screw inserted.
The product usefulness is good. But, the product assembly is weak. The first time I put the product together the locking tab broke (very weak metal). It is still useable for it's intended purpose as-is. Also there is no on-line info or tech service for for warrantee of defective product or replacement piece.
This product is total junk and recommend you find another mount. While the price seemed right, and the hardware seemed to be high quality, it completely failed to hold the 15-inch LCD level (only 12 lbs. and not the max size/weight recommended for this bracket). Directions were followed exactly (I have an engineering degree and 20 years of home improvement experience) and the built-in level was used. It seems like there is too much play in the bracket arm pivots, plus play between the wall mounting screws and the holes in the bracket. Even with mounting the bracket at an angle to compensate, it could not hold the TV consistently level. I returned it in complete frustration.
Can't even hold a 19" LCD TV level. Have to mount the bracket at an angle on the wall in the opposite direction to get it level. Needs tightening after each movement. C-clamp failed after 10 days usage which makes it unusable. Price was good but quality was very poor!
