Cordless phone batteries do have a way of wearing out and this item has previously proven to do exactly that. It is warranted for a year and the one previous to this, lasted for about 15 months. It has delivered a life as advertised and that is all one should expect, I guess. I, however, must state that the original battery supplied with the phone lasted several years and we expected the replacement Eveready to do about the same, but it seems that the bunny may not work there anymore. Regardless, we like the Sony Phone it feeds and even if it is kind of clunky it has a clear sound that works well with our aging ears and the battery life experienced may well have been reduced by NOT carefully cleaning the recharge contact terminals frequently or well enough. We will make a valid attempt to make sure that we will this time around. The service time of handling and shipping was well short of the anticipated and published one and the item arrived in good condition as well. The order process was easy and the price was very acceptable.
