This is a great price for a brand name battery. You can find batteries cheaper but read the reviews as they don't last or charge very well. This is a name brand battery and works flawlessly
I bought this battery today. Note that the Canon battery is 7.2V 1800mAH and this battery is 7.4V 1400mAH. milli-Amp Hour is a rating of how much energy/time the battery holds. The 1400 to 1800 mAH ratio is 80% of the Canon battery. I have not bothered to do the math to determine if it has the same energy capacity as the Canon given that it is rated .2V higher than the Canon battery. The Canon LC-E6 charger did charge this battery. When I loaded the battery into my Canon E0S camera the camera turned on. It recognized the battery as an LP-E6 because it registered the battery in its battery data. Because I just bought the battery today I have not determined how well this battery holds a charge.
I bought this in October of 2017 and used it until early January and it won't even charge anymore. Didn't even last 3 months. Worked great till it died but did not last as long as a Canon battery. I would say it only gave you about 80% compared to the Canon.
