This works!!! Shake the bag each use, only for outside the home! Kept feral cats and other critters away like magic!! Used in and around raised garden beds, trash can areas to deter skunks, porches and flower beds, it DOES work! I've used this for years! I'll continue to purchase!
Great stuff .. I don't find any little piles of 💩 in yard anymore Keeps dogs and cats from doing their business in my front yard and the mailbox and is resistant to rain
This is the second time I have purchased this product from Walmart. It is very effective in keeping my cats out of my flower bed. Kind of expensive, but worth it in the long run...it does work!
My crazy-cat-lady neighbor's strays like to hang out on/under my porch at all hours instead of hers, making noise, messes and antagonizing my own indoor cat through the windows. After applying this around the foundation of the porch, that doesn't happen much anymore. When you first put it down (shake well and use more than directed), this stuff smells like a cross between a bug-repellent (citronella) candle and Vick's Vaporub ointment. In dry conditions the smell is pretty strong for about 2-3 days, then fades so you can't really detect it. Unless they're stuffed up with a cold or other nasal problem, cats' noses are far more sensitive than humans' so they can still smell it after the scent fades away for humans. For the most part they will avoid it, but some cats might just ignore it. It's an aromatic repellent used for area avoidance training, don't expect magic. For the ones that do ignore it, keep a loaded SuperSoaker (squirt gun) handy. They'll learn eventually. Water kills it so you'll need to reapply after rain, and when you FIRST start using it, put down about 50% more than directed and refresh it at least weekly to jump-start the "scram" effect. At first, you WANT the smell to be overpowering! After about a month, back down to the recommended usage for maintenance. Works OK but for that reason loses a star, because this stuff can get pretty expensive considering how much you have to use.
This product work unless it rains or you need to water your lawn or garden. This seems unpractical unless you live in a dessert. Since you have to reapply frequently this is not a cost effect option.
Used it kept cats away for 2 days now there back again with friends, Going to try 1 more treatment hope it works.
Did not seem to bother the stray cats in my back yard in the least.
WORKED FOR ONE DAY THEN THE CATS DID NOT ABOUT IT.
bleached the sandy area where the cat previously pooped. Then i put this stuff down. 5 (dry) days later, the cat crapped right in the stuff! I'm so disappointed. Keeping a lemon in the area to scare the cat away worked better than this stuff. i just didn't want rotting fruit in my kid's play area.
I won't have given one * if I could have gotten this box. Folks this is absolutely a 'pig-n-a-poke.' The cats come and poop right on top of this! Even right after I have applied it.
