[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product few days ago and I am amazed by how easy it is to connect and use it. The 3 different video connector types guaranty that you will be able to use it from any video sources (HDMI, VGA and USB video). I would only recommend you buy a USB-C to HDMI adaptor to be fully equipped. I bough one for few dollars and I can now connect my latest Chromebook. Once the source is connected, the projector will detect the source itself and display it. The menu to fine tune the image size (E-zoom) and shape are very useful and efficient. The front lift stand is also very handy, no need to adjust the height with books or something else. the focus knob is efficient and the setting does not move over time. All menus are available with the remote control or on top of the projector. I used it inside my house and outside, it is very nice to share a movie outside with friends in this pandemic. I recommend this projector, it is easy to use, good image quality and the price is fair.
We use these for our axcitement axe throwing lanes to project games onto axe targets. They work great for that! We have to mount them very high, and the quick corner keystone adjustment works great for our needs. All our games just run from a raspberry pi or computer, so we are not trying to broadcast great quality - but they seem to look great - even on wood with axes hitting them!
This is such a great projector for our church! It's very bright and clear! Very easy to read the the songs and scriptures even from the back of the church. It's not a large church, around 120 seats but it would work for a church with probably 200 +I'm sure. Very happy with this purchase!

Had to move the projector to adjust screen size and didn't have much sound, not no more. I hooked this up tonight and it was bright clear picture, no lag. It was noisy but not so noisy you couldn't hear the sound. Very impressed with the quality of this. Sound is loud but can be distorted. Overall I'm excited to use it
Upon opening the box for the Epson VS260 projector, it had the following items. I noticed it's compact size and clean look right away. The projector was fairly easy to set up. I was able to fine-tune the picture height with a front adjustable leg and internal picture angle adjustments when the screen is above the projector. It was easy to adjust the focus and zoom. I noticed an over scan of the picture, but I was able to turn that off. There are 5 picture modes to choose from: Dynamic, Presentation, Cinema, sRGB, and Blackboard. Once I adjusted all the picture settings to my needs, the picture was bright and had pretty good quality. Although not HD, it gave a picture that was clear and easily seen from all angles of the room. The manual said there was a lense cover, but I was not able to find it. The internal speaker was ok; it could be better. However, I was able to connect it to my surround sound system. It would be an advantage to have a laser pointer within the remote for presenting at a distance; which is usually when one uses the remote. The fan noise was not noticeable while in use. The compact size allows me to carry the projector, a laptop, remote and cables all in one backpack. Overall, the Epson VS260 projector worked well and I was satisfied with how it performed. This projector would work well in many settings. I can see it used in simple home theaters, offices, as well as classrooms; anything that needs a simple set up and nothing complicated or high tech. It's a good all around projector. This is a review for the Epson VS260 XGA projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
The Epson Projector VS260 3LCD Projector in White has been useful in my self-employed, education-based, small business time, as well as for my relaxing personal down time family entertainment. The image quality is remarkably crisp and clear for an affordable projector at this price. It's perfect to use for educational or business presentations (which is what I use it for). It features manual focus lens. For best results, use this projector in medium sized rooms up To 12' X 14'. It does come equipped a built-in speaker, which is convenient, but I do suggest the use of added speakers or a sound bar for better audio. Note that this unit does NOT come with Bluetooth. The projector fan is not overly loud. You can hear it running in complete silence, but when watching a video, or listening to a speaker talk, it is not bothersome. I'm very pleased that it has an HDMI port which makes it easy to have online conference calls projected, as well, as stream media from Roku, FireTV, etc. It allows for a wide range of devices to connect to it such as gaming devices, digital cameras, tablets, and laptops, for example. The "E-zoom and image shift" features allows for convenient adjustment of the picture with easy zoom-in and zoom-out modes accessible from the included remote control (batteries included). Besides the projector and remote, a power cord, and easy to follow quick start guide is included in the box. Unfortunately, it does not contain a carrying case to protect it. Buying a separate carrying case for this portable projector would be a wise choice. Speaking to it's lightweight portability, I like to also use it for entertainment outdoors in the evening, on our covered patio, where we have installed a roll-up screen. It measures 11.9" x 9.3" x 3.2", and this projector has several projection modes and one is for mounting on the wall or ceiling upside down using a separately purchased mounting system of your choice.
After a little over 3 months of daily use, one of my two vs250's blew a lamp. One phone call and a new lamp was sent out. I've tried shopping other brands. I've found that it is hard to find anyone giving accurate brightness specs quite like epson did/does. In the picture, you can see first hand a side by side comparison between one of my epson vs250's next to a higher def budget projector which claimed almost double the lumens as the epson. While the resolution was indeed better, they lie about their brightness. Epson wins despite the resolution. It doesn't help me if it's too dark to see. Primary use is for gaming.

It came in a box that was unmarked which I liked cause with today's front porch robbery it was sitting on my porch and nobody knew there was a high end projector. That in today's life is a smart thing every company should be doing. Once opening the box it was specifically packaged to protect every part of this projector. Remote, cords, projector and batteries were all contained so they weren't shifting in the box. The projector is white in color and blends in nicely with my office. Easy to follow directions for easy set up. Plugs right into my laptop and connected first attempt. For me that is huge because I am not a technical genius and it never fails I get the one electronic that needs something extra. This was not the case with this projector. Easy plug and play. I immediately had it hooked to my laptop and projecting on my white wall. The colors and clarity is as if you are connected to an advanced monitor. This is light weight and super portable. The only one option I wished was with it was a carry case. That would have made this a perfect projector to take on the go. I don't think it is meant to be the kind to do that but it is certainly that lightweight and easy to carry around. Use it for business or to watch movies. I often take mine on the back porch and project football games on a sunshade that comes down. It's made my sports watching 1000 times better. I feel as if I am almost in the game it is that clear. Great projector and not a bad thing to say about it. I recommend this if you need a projector of this kind. You will love it.

This is my first projector and it was a great choice! There is some pixelation but it has good quality. The sound is even good from the speaker in the unit although I will use a receiver. I have only owned it for 1 day but so far so good. Overall great buy !
