I have been using this printer for the past few weeks and have to say that its been flawless so far. Setup was simple with windows 10 and MacOS Mojave. I downloaded the software/drivers from Epson website for both OS and the printer installed just fine. I did have a problem using WPS to connect it to my WiFi but I believe that issue is with my router not the printer as I have had issues with WPS and this router previously. As far as performance, It is a fast printing printer. All documents were sent using WiFi and printed without issues. I have printed about 10 photos so far and the quality is great. Speed for printing photos takes about 15-20 seconds and they were formatted properly using iOS native software. I received a couple of faxes and they were received without issues. I haven't yet sent any faxes yet. The duplex printing is amazing!! I love that I don't have to waste paper printing 1-sided anymore. The ADF works good as well as the paper supply feeder. Overall this printer for the price point has tons of features that make this a great buy. The Epson WorkForce- 2830 is one awesome all in one printer. This printer includes it all: printing, scanning, copying and faxing. Along with the printing you can use an automatic 2-sided print, and this comes in handy when you forget which way to reinsert your papers like on the other old printers. Another plus for this printer, is that it is Wi-Fi connect so you don't have all kinds of wires around your desk. My old printer doesn't even come close to doing most of the features on the WF-2830. I really enjoy having this printer, it's compact and doesn't take up a lot of space , it's really easy to set up, and really easy to use. It has an LCD screen that I can tilt so I can read the screen easily. I am even able to print from my phone by either typing it out or using a voice activated print option. This printer amazes me still. Iv'e tried the many many options on the Epson printer and I am glad I had the opportunity to try it. So if you're in the market for a printer for home, school, or even work, give this printer a try cause it is a real WorkForce. There are so many printers out there that it can become hard to choose one that is perfect. There are a couple features on this printer that stand out that make me like it better than previous printers that I've owned. One important aspect is the size, this printer is relatively compact which makes a big difference when you have a small home office and no place for a large printer. Another super useful feature is the (ADF) Auto document feeder. The ADF makes it that I can place a stack of papers in the printer and it will scan or copy all of them without me having to manually place each one. It comes real handy when I have to do paper reports and scan them in, it literally saves me a half hour of time each scan session. There are a few other features that I would say are basically standard now which this printer has. The wifi printing allowing me to print effortlessly from my phone. I would say at least half my printing is done from my phone. The screen is on the smaller size but large enough to clearly see and there are a number of other buttons so its simple and intuitive to use. The double sided printing works well without having to manually flip the paper around and reinsert it. The print quality is excellent. I honestly didn't play around with the voice controlled printing as its a feature that I don't need. We just bought this printer/scanner/copier because my dad passed away and we needed to get pictures scanned in for the PowerPoint presentation and it worked flawlessly!
I got the WF 2830 to test it was very easy to set up right out the box. I quickly got it connected to my wifi and was able to print out my email sheet so I could send stuff to my printer from my email. I then hooked it up to my PC using a USB cable and updated all the firmware and scanned in a few documents to my computer. Over all I would say that this printer is great for a beginner it was easy to set up and use. It works great when hooked up to the wifi or using a USB cable. My photos scanned beautifully without any issues straight to my computer, and set up was a breeze. I would highly recommend this printer. I love this printer. I use it in my home office. It was fairly easy to set up. It prints from my phone and tablets perfectly fine. This printer has been perfect. I'm able to print multiple pages, fax and scan without any issues at all. I've only had this printer for a few weeks but I've got to say that I am impressed. I really needed a printer for envelopes and always used a different brand but I was going through those printers every 6 months it seemed. This printer prints so much faster. Overall, I am very happy with the Epson Workforce 2830 printer. If you want a fast printer with an utterly friendly user interface, and other bells and whistles then this one may be for you. As I said before I been using it for over a few weeks now, and I have no complaints, only praise. The user interface is logical and I figured it out without a user manual but maybe slightly challenging for others. I am definitely not a whizz-kid but I have been through other printers. I love this printer. The setup was super easy. It prints beautiful high quality photos, documents, graphs, anything really. It has a nice double sided printing feature. The print speeds were amazing. It also has a larger paper capacity than my other printer did, which is a nice feature to have. You can scan and copy from the bed or use the automatic feeder to do the same thing but it will do up to 30 at a time and is so much faster and more convenient. I love that it has the voice activated feature, it was intimidating at first but so fun and easy once I got the hang of it. The fact that I can print from my phone or tablet was a huge plus. The cloud option is also something i was unsure of in the beginning, but turned out to be such a great option. The size is a lot more compact than I had expected which is also nice. I also do a lot of coping of coloring books for my kids, the expanding hinges of the scanner bed allowed for flawless printing of some pretty large books that I honestly didn't expect the printer to be capable of scanning properly, but it out performed my expectations by far. At first, I was in shock, I had hooked it up straight out of the box and it was printing. Without reading the instructions too much, The next time I tried to print, I couldn't get it to work, but instead of being disappointed, I started looking for an app to go with it. This is how my other printer works, so I figured it'd be similar. The app worked great to print straight from my phone. This is important because I work off of my phone. While I have not set up the fax yet, I will be. Nothing seems too difficult to work on this work force printer, so it shouldn't be a problem. This prints full pictures quickly and is not too heavy on ink. This is important to me because I print a lot of PDFs and they must be detailed in color. This printer stands up to my personal and business needs and executes efficiently. Overall, I'd recommend this product.
