Worked really well, kept my wound healthy and was comfortable! Didn't slide around tons even with antibiotic ointment added the first week or so. I picked up a second box just in case of future injuries or to have on hand in the car for first aid. They are very thick and it's basically like 2 just folded into each other so if you don't need the extra cushion / protection like I did you could probably make them last twice as long too.
Gauze pads are not just for people folks. You can use these to cleanse your pets ears...better than a q-tip. Used on ‘Opal’ prior to her vet appt. Really helped with her ear problems. Roll up, insert (gently) and twist to extract debris. Yes, they work well for people ad well. Scratches and abrasions deal better with a guaze pad over them in most cases. Glad they have the AB (antibacterial) in place. No fuss, muss with slathing on AB creams or ointments on manually. Makes the venture far less tedious. Packaged very well. Perfect size.
The gauze already having antibacterial properties made cleansing and caring for my wounds very easy. The wounds healed much quicker using this product over plain sterile gauze.
Great size for most wounds, nice thickness. They're not nonstick so shouldn't be used for some types of wounds like blisters or ulcers etc.
Good product double protection I'd apply antibacterial ointment then the self adhesive pad. If you run out of ointment no worries because the pad is antibacterial

I think these work great! I get a lot of cuts working outdoors. I am clearing some property that is full of thorny vines. These gauze pads, along with some tape, keep the wound clean and it heals faster!
As a nurse, quality of medical supplies is important when providing wound care. This supply is adequate in that regard. I did like the quantity for the price. Would buy again if needed.
If you think this is going to remotely resemble gauze like you get at the hospital, you're going to be sadly disappointed. This stuff is more like the weird fabric they use in cheap alcohol swabs or the cleaning wipes you buy at the dollar store. You'd be better off with a regular band aid than these things.
