I have psoriasis on my scalp and nothing has worked to help clear it up, except this shampoo!
This is a great shampoo for much less than biolage. Iâve only used the biolage hydrasource brand shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair for the last 10 years until I found this equate shampoo version at walmart about 7-8 months ago and switched to it because its much more afforadable. However it appears that Walmart has discontinued it because Iâm unable to find it in the stores or online. I have not tried the equate conditioner that goes with this shampoo but would like to try it if i could find it.
I'm super picky about shampoo and conditioner and I'll pay 50$ for a good one or 8$ for a cheap one as long as it smells good and doesn't leave that filmy feeling like some do on the roots even when I rinse and rinse thoroughly. After I rinse this product out it feels good, then I follow up with a different brand conditioner but I dont have any complaints on this other than the size of it.
Doesn't seem to lather much. Smells nice. Made my hair nice and soft, plus along with the matching conditioner, kept my curls intact and made them nice and shiny! Don't know how it actually compares to the Biolage product, but on it's own, it's a very nice product!
This shampoo and conditioner is terrible. I could barely get it to lather in my hair. After drying my hair was elastic and brittle/continues to break off. I immediately returned the product.
I had used Biolage for years and was very happy with it, but the price increased. When I saw this "comparable to Biolage" at Walmart for half the price, I decided to try it. Wrong decision. My hair instantly became dry, like straw, conditioner didn't help, neither did extra brushing. Your product stripped my hair as if it was a very harsh detergent. I went back to Biolage at twice the price. With the FIRST shampoo, my hair was already almost 100% back to normal, even without conditioner. I called the "satisfaction guaranteed" phone number on the bottle, so I'll wait to see what happens, if anything. Lesson learned!
This product in no way compares to Biolage. Don't do it!
