I buy a lot of Equate products, therefore it was no surprise that this sunscreen worked just as well as the more expensive name brand products! My whole family used this spray during our 2016 Summer trip to Florida and California, we were in and out of the water! No sunburns for this family!
Very convenient, great product - sprays a nice mist as opposed to some that spray out goop that makes a big mess and still needs to be rubbed in.
Great deal for the price. Plus this product is listed high on for spf coverage on consumer reports. Not all sunscreens live up to their as advertisements. This one does.
Years ago I watched a special on sunscreen comparisons. The Walmart and Target generic brands rated the highest. I have bought the Equate brand ever since. My family spends an entire week at the beach with no sun burns.
The coverage is good and it stays on. I went to the beach and would stay for hours and never burned.
It works for sure. Have used it on my kids who are very light skinned and prone to sunburns and they didn't burn at all. Worth every penny. Followed the directions; respraying every 90 mins or after drying off. Easy to apply, just spray them down wait 5 mins to dry and let them go play in the sun.
I was shocked to know that this sunscreen and another brand were the only two of a total of 20 sunscreens that passed the FDA grading for sun protection in 2014. So if you purchased equate factor 50 protection you will get a 50 and is cheaper than the other brands! This is very important for me because my kids will be out there going to camp, beach etc and I want the best protection out there! I am very pleased with this product.
I have 4 children so applying sun screen is a big job! With a spray it takes half time this product is a half the price compared to big brand names. So when you buy a lot of sunscreen this is great deal!
A week in Daytona and Disneyworld was the perfect testing grounds for this. Sunscreen performed exactly as expected. Easy to apply, lasts through sweat, ocean water and pool water very well! A bit wasteful with the mist spray application but covers well. Overall a great product at a great price!
I buy this because it is cheap and I like the way it sprays evenly and then dries quickly. Beware though it stains light (especially white clothes a yellowish/rust color). We use a ton of sunblock and so I just use this when my kids aren't wearing white and use the expensive one near any white. the kids like the smell (or lack of) of this one better and I like the coverage and drying of this better.
