Having 12 cartons delivered to my front door is expedient, proficient and convenient! I could never get 12 cartons at one time visiting my local Walmart, simply because they don't have room for 12 cartons of chocolate on the shelf at any one time! My only complaint is that the Walmart Distribution Center packages the boxes with one hundred feet of packing paper, and I recycle paper and plastic. So, I have to spend half an afternoon unfolding and straightening, and refolding paper to fit into my recycle bag. Other than that, it's very convenient.
I bought this for my daughter while she is pregnant. She had a very difficult first 6 months trying to keep food down. The first 6 months she was drinking two drinks a day with bites of food that she could keep down. Now she is drinking one in the morning till her appetite kids in. I have tried other brands and she says this one tastes the best and is the easiest to keep down. Great price.
It is easier to order on line and have it delivered to home. You only have to lift it once that way.
due to health problems my husband was loosing weight and muscle also. started him on these and he has gained 4 lbs in a few months! might not sound like a lot but he is not loosing weight and that means a lot
My mom has COPD and was losing wieght like crazy. So she added three shakes a day and has gained back the much needed 25 lbs. Really makes a difference.
I drank four of these delicious shakes (through a straw) every day coming through thirty-three radiation treatments (which kills one's appetite) and maintained my weight in place of being fed nutrition through a tube being inserted into my stomach. Your shakes were a positive where feeding my stomach through a tube would have been a negative. This was a blessing...THANK YOU!
My husband liked this so much he would ask for it before having breakfast. He is 92 years old and was losing weight until starting the Equate nutritional shake plus. Now his weight has stabilized and it is no longer an effort for me to get enough calories in for him plus I know he is getting additional vitamins and minerals. Another plus is the cost is much lower than Ensure.
Tastes great to me...chocolatey, rich, sweet enough. Slight medicine taste but cool if you chill it. Great value for a replacement meal. Already gained back 7 of the 18 pounds I lost after a hospital stay and subsequent inability to properly feed myself.
Great chocolate flavor. I use these to help me get some much needed calories, protein and nutrients when my illness causes my appetite to decrease and weight loss. Only issue I have is the cap can be hard for me to open due to my joint pain and decreased strength.
My husband accidentally purchased these instead of the generic chocolate slim fasts, which I love. I decided I would give it a try since I hate for it to go to waste. The drink itself is delicious; however, 5 to 10 minutes after consumption, all the fun stuff started.... first, hot flashes, then naseau, then abdominal cramps. I was praying I would make it to the bathroom on time. Thank God I did! This stuff gave me the runs. Luckily, it passed after I went to the bathroom, but I can only imagine how embarrassing it would have been had I not been able to make it to the bathroom or if someone else had drank this stuff and had the same reaction.
