I'm a very picky person and shockingly not bad . I've tried many vanilla ones and I never buy them because for the same reason that they always have a nasty aftertaste. But this one not at all . I will say however it's a little on the sweet side so I only put one scoop.
One of the best protein powders i've tried, and you really can't beat it for the quantity and price. Truly tastes like vanilla cake batter. I also find that it is finer milled than most protein powders. I do like to blend it up dry first to break it down even more and then add whatever i want into it. I don't think there will ever be a protein powder without the “taste” or “chalk” but this one is the best so far.
I am underweight for my height. I've tried to supplement protein shakes to keep a steady weight despite being very active. I have been drinking two shakes per day (4 scoops daily) and have not seen even a slight weight gain. It's delicious powder, even when just mixed with water and almond milk. I'm starting to think it's just a placebo. I'm not supplementing meals with this powder. These shakes are in addition to my regular eating. Just weird that I can't add weight with extra protein and regular weight lifting. I can only gain weight eating waffles or lots of pizza.
I have a protein deficiency, so I need to consume protein shakes on a consistent basis. Thought I would give this a try, because the price was great. Was surprised at how good it really tastes. I would rather use this than the name brands. I'm looking forward to trying the chocolate flavor.
I love this was a little scared to try at first. I added almond milk, handful of berries and half a banana, and it was so good. Highly recommend this and the price is great also.
Really good vanilla taste when added to my smoothies.
It tastes a lot better than orgain’s vanilla but it’s too sweet for me. Got it cause I’m lactose intolerant. Wish it came with cane sugar rather than the unmeasurable fake sugar. I probably will stick to just baking with this rather than adding it to my oatmeal. Even though it tastes better than orgain, I’ll probably stick to orgain for the cane sugar Definitely recommend if you like sweet things
Flavor isn't bad, but the sandy texture is not great. I made a smoothie with it and even with using a blender, it still has a gritty texture.
Contains bioengineered food ingredients. Also, in very small print, not for use by persons under 18. KEEP OUT OF TEACH OF CHILDREN.
I was pleased at the label “Plant-Based” and did not read the nutrient label until I got home. To my surprise 2 scoops contains 490 mg of Sodium. Shocking! This is almost 1/4, i.e 21% of the recommended daily sodium in one drink. I definitely would not recommend for seniors or anyone who is hypertensive; nevertheless, this produce could benefit an athlete or someone who works-out vigorously. I gave it away so I can't comment on the taste. Using this product daily would certainly cost a higher price in the future, especially if you enjoy eating whatever you want whenever you want. I do so for me this is definitely 👎🏻
