This is a great product, but I won't order it online ever again! They sent it in a plastic envelope & the box was so badly mashed up that I had to take it back to the local store & exchange it for a box that wasn't all mashed up and damaged. If they could guarantee me that the next time they ship this product to me that they'd put it into a box, then I would gladly order it online again--but I was very disappointed by the whole way they packaged it for shipping to me because there was no protection from crushing/mashing/damage for the product in the plastic envelope! It looked like the delivery person had deliberately stompped all over the package before delivering it! Very disappointed by that & going back to store to return it for a new box was a huge waste of my precious time!
After a battle with colon cancer and now living with 1/2 of the intestines I once had I developed a bunch of weird problems. One being a REAL problem with dairy products... After a bunch of research we (my wife the research expert ;-) found that this enzyme might help me enjoy my dairy as I have for the past 60 years. We have always used the store brands, generics when we can. Praise the Lord that the Walmart folks had the insight to make this supplement!!! NOW I can enjoy my bowl of Moo-lenium Crunch as I did before my battles with sickness!!! I am blessed and thanks to the "Equate brand" and the fair prices at "Wally's", I can afford to take what I need to take without missing any of my bills. If you have a problem with dairy, try this! IT WORKS and is affordable too! Thanks Wally!
These pills allow me to eat any and all dairy products. Yay!
I buy these alot, my husband lactose intolerant. I buy Name brand when these are not in stock, but prefer these because the price is much better and they work just as well.
The Lactase Enzyme available through Equate and Walmart is not only a potent supplement that enables me to digest dairy foods but because its dose is higher than the cheaper lactase enzyme caplets I don't have to take as many. Those other tablets bearing generic names requre you to take at least 3 caplets to Equate's 1. And normally when I eat ice cream I'd have to take 3 to 6 tablets of the others and only 1 or possibly 2 tablets of the Walmart/Equate brand. Additionally, they are easier to travel with because they're packaged in one caplet sealed pockets - avoiding their breakdown because of moisture and loss of pills from breakage.
I ordered this lactaid product in Equate brand as i fell n fractures 2 of my ribs n needed to be drinking more milk aside from taking my calcuim religiously. I buy the lactose-free milk when i can find them, but otherwise, i just swallow a caplet of this supplement before i drink the regular homo low fat milk n it did not upset my stomach. The packaging arrived in excellent condition and none of my orders of other supplements were damage as they were packed inside a walmart cardboard box and stuffed with lots of brown packing papers. I comment the packaging dept. The items came very quick via Fedex...I am 4 weeks into my fractures and 3 more weeks i hope to be completely healed. thanks walmart for saving me a trip to the drug store which i was unable to do.
Unfortunately it does not work for me. So far only Lactaid works with my extreme case of intolerance. Luckily it is satisfaction guaranteed so called and they are sending me a gift card!
Which is to say that it doesn't work at all.
