I purchased one of these little miracles 2 + years ago and I'm still using it! Even alternating between hot and cold. A few months ago I was in a terrible accident that left those forever aches and pains. I am purchasing more since I have several affected areas now. I was afraid they would no longer be available... YAY!!!!
I wanted a heating product that would offer sustained heat without an electric cord &without the mess of filling a hot water bottle which wouldn't stay hot for long anyway. I had already tried the Handwarmer products (the kind you shake to activate), and those are great too, but I am soooo happy I came across this wonderful alternative in the pharmacy area of the Walmart. You pop it in the microwave for 1 minute and it provides glorious heat for a really long time-- I'd say close to 1.5 hrs good heat and still a little warm after that (it diminishes over time)and you can reheat it as long as you don't reheat it more than once within an hour. Great value (only about $3)! Its a nice size too (8.5 x 6.25 inches) & since it is a nice soft gel inside the cloth exterior, its very comfortable to use and hold next to you. My dad gets cold easily and he LOVES it to warm himself up under a blanket. I originally bought it for him as a heating pad for a muscle problem he was having, but now he uses it just to stay toasty warm too, and then I tried it and liked it so much that I bought 2 of them for each of us. It also can be used as a cold compress--which is wonderful versatility, but I haven't had a chance to try that feature yet.

This item is far more competitively priced than other similar items - I was sold. Its very easy to use. Its also covered in a very nice & soft material which makes application on bare skin a breeze. And more importantly its size is perfect for all kinds of usages.
Love the way you can mold it to any joint because of the flexibility. Love the way you can refreeze it. Great product!
Love these. We keep several in the freezer at all times because all 4 people in my house suffer from migraines. They help with migraines wonderfully. The only thing to make these better would be to take the fuzzy off, they'll stay cold longer then.
It is convenient for me to use at home or office and it is not expensive. However, it doesn't hot or cold enough to meet my need.
The item is OK for what it does. You can microwave it for a hot compress or freeze it for a cold compress. I did not use the product because it was not what I was looking for, I will be returning the product.
These reusable compresses are very durable and remain flexible, exactly as advertised. The only problem I have with it is the "straight to skin" feature. I use the compresses as cold packs & I use them several times a day for neck pain. After using them for a few days, the "straight to skin" surface starts fuzzing up & peeling off... I wish I had the option of buying the ice packs without the special coating.
